Up for auction is this UNUSUAL& Rare Antique SOLID STERLING Medium Cold MEAT SERVING FORK in the International Silver MARGARET Pattern from 1912. It is UNUSUAL because it has a Simpson. Hall, Miller& Company Silver Mark even though it was produced by International Silver. The reason for this is because International Silver took over SHM&C in the late 1890's. But continued to use the old mark for many years after takeover. Serving Fork measures 8 1/4" long and weighs 68 grams or about 2.17 troy ounces. It has typical light wear/scratches. But only real damage is a slight bend to tip of one of the tines which should be fixable. I would say it is currently in VG condition, but would be VG+ if you fixed the tine. Fork is a shiny silver color, so ignore other colors in photographs. This would make an OUTSTANDING addition to ... moreyour collection. All controls and switches work noise-free, output for all three waveforms is perfect(see scope photos) and unit's output spans frequencies from fractional(period of 11 seconds) to 1 MHz. TTL and 600 ohm adjustable outputs both look great. Unit is absolutely clean inside and out, and plastic case is in good shape. There are a few minor exterior flaws: original plastic handle and one rubber foot are missing, and there is a discoloured rectangle on top of unit where a sticker was once affixed. Last calibration date is unknown and though this unit is sold as fully functional, I provide no guarantee of its accuracy or calibration.
