This is an Al Cass cornet mouthpiece. In raw brass. I got this twenty years ago while I was trying out mouthpieces for my piccolo trumpet. I have owned a few other Al Cass model trumpet mouthpieces, and this is consistent with the build and style of his trumpet pieces, only with a standard cornet shank(fits a Schilke piccolo trumpet receiver) It is inscribed(tried to get one picture with the bulk of the lettering) Al Cass Milford Mass. King Super 20 Master Cornet
This is a museum quality instrument. Virtually unused in it's lifetime! Serial# 374,xxx dates this to 1960, making it one of the'good ones" before the White family sold the company in the early 1960s. Horn has a lovely 100% original lacquer finish with nickel silver outer tubing for the slides and a nickel silver mouthpiece receiver. The bell is brass and features a triangular bead around the bell flare. A micro-tuner is featured on the tuning slide. All slides are tight and valves are flawless with no condition issues. Note: 3rd valve slide is really tight and will need to be lapped as the instrument is unused. Horn plays with a nice dark tone and is very responsive in all registers. Comes in the original King case that is odorless and in very good condition considering its age. a mute is also included. This is a great find- ... moredon't miss it. Cornet Couesnon Paris Exposition 1900 Couesnon Cornet. Produced in Paris after 1900. I'm told that the date is 1925 from the 25 engraved in the bel l. This horn is a very early and rare instrument. Inscription on the bell: Universelle Exposition De Paris 1900” Hors Concours member du jury” Fournisseurs de L’armee” 94 Rue D’angouleme Paris” 25” No other numbers could be located on the horn) Translations: World’s Fair Paris 1900. Standout member of the jury, Furnishers to the Army, and the address of the company. I'm told t he Company not the design would have been a standout member of the jury at the 1900 fair. I disassembled. Checked valves and slides. The valves work as they are supposed to; the slides move and remove as designed. I played it- Valves are a little slow to recover. This is a good vintage horn dating to shortly after ... more1900. The finish. Though far from perfect, has aged nicely. The slide adjusting stop rod is missing from the main tuning slide(no effect on playability) Finger button 1 is different than buttons 2& 3. There are re-soldered brackets and fittings, and some dents and tings to tubing- So look over the photos- see if you agree; This horn is a beauty just as it is- and a candidate for full restoration- if you like. This is the ticket to get into a historic instrument without spending a bundle! The horn plays great and is an impressive antique. It’s a great horn for someone who wants to start playing again. 1950s Getzen Super Deluxe Tone Balanced cornet, excellent original condition
This listing is for an unrestored 1950s Getzen Super Deluxe Tone Balanced cornet(serial# 107xxx) in outstanding playing condition. I purchased this horn a couple of years back as part of a set with a Super Deluxe trumpet. And love the way it plays. I can't say enough about what a fun little horn this is. As the pictures show. With a couple of exceptions, this cornet is in really nice shape. There are a few pings along the leadpipe and and some of the slides, as well as the odd ding along the bell& bell bow, visible in the pictures, but nothing major. The biggest cosmetic issue is that it looks like, at some point in this horn's life, it kissed a stand. The dent was repaired, but you can see the remaining crease lines in the pictures. This is still a beautiful horn in person, and the bell looks great otherwise. The original lacquer ... moreis in great shape; aside from the odd minor spot where the lacquer has worn away in the usual suspect places, the finish on this Super Deluxe is fantastic, given its age. The photos tell the story. So please look them over. For its playing characteristics: this is among my all-time favorite cornets. All things considered. It's capable of tremendous dynamic and tonal variety, and has a smooth, sweet tone that holds together nicely when pushed. The valves are simply fantastic. And the horn is easy to play and agile. This sale includes the original case and a Buescher 20 mouthpiece. Both of which are in great shape. The felt in the case has worn in a few places, as shown in the pictures, but really is a fine example of an unrestored case of its age. I've purchased several horns off eBay. And have been occasionally dismayed by some sellers' failure to be honest and thorough about the trumpets they sell. It's possible that I've missed something, so ask if I didn't touch on something that's important to you or if you'd like more pictures, but, otherwise, no surprises, no deliberate omissions and no misrepresentations. Holton Clarke Cornet
You are bidding on a Holton Clarke shepherd's crook cornet. This horn was made famous by Herbert L. Clarke and is in amazing condition for its age. Included in this auction is the original Clarke 1 and 2 mouthpieces. Lyre, Original case, Original Paper from first owner ect. It is a great little horn. The original frosted-silver body and contrasting bright silver bell mouth. Valve caps, and Holton logo, and are intact at about 97%+ condition, with only two areas of pinpoint finish loss at the leadpipe joint, and the third valve case just below the brace. It has a shallow crease, about ¾” in length in the bottom of the bell bow, and surface dings at the mouthpiece receiver, and the instrument is otherwise in outstanding playing condition for an instrument near the century mark.

The process necessary for producing the Coprion bell was developed by Conn in 1938. Coprion isn't the same as a"rose brass" or"red brass" bell; these are brass bells with a higher copper content. Coprion is 100% pure copper. In its advertising for the Coprion bell. Conn showed diagrams of the structure of"ordinary" brass bells compared to the Coprion bell. The brass bell showed an"irregular and hodge podge" crystal structure with comparatively large crystals, while the Coprion bell showed"ions of pure copper side by side in regular, close knit conformation and at right angles to the surface of the metal" What does Coprion do to the sound and the way the instrument plays? It is said that on an instrument with a Coprion bell"you can't overblow or'crack' a note. Also. According to Conn, Coprion has a special characteristic which permits great dynamic range without change in tone color. Vintage Conn Bb/A Cornet
This beautiful instrument is a vintage student model Conn Bb/A cornet. It is in great condition with no dents. Most of the tuning slides work but the ones to put the horn into A need to be freed up. The horn is low pitched. That is it is pitched to A430 rather than A440. It plays as I just played it but the valves should be worked on to make the instrument play better. The case, save for the handle, is in great shape and still has the Conn banner inside. This beautiful brass instrument would look great on someone's mantle or shelf.

This is a 1952 model Olds Ambassador Bb cornet in very good condition. Plays fantastic. Valves are fast and plating is great. It has an updated Olds mouthpiece receiver to receive standard modern shank cornet mouthpieces. It also has a first valve thumb saddle for slide adjustment. The mouthpiece receiver and Thumb slide were installed by Rich Ita's Brass Instrument Workshop outside Atlanta. Serial# 76479. I have to admit. I know nothing about instruments so I hope the photos can give you a lot of information! I took it to a professional at a music shop and he told me: it is a cornet, it will work if it is"flushed out" the keys are frozen but can be fixed. There are a lot of dings as you can see from the photos. I do not know the year, but it looks fairly old. I do have the case. But as it is very heavy, the listing is for the instrument only. And supported by the opinions of many other players, the 28A Connstellation, 6A Victor, and 10A Victor/Artist, are truly the"secret weapons" or"hidden gems" of the small bore, large wrap, large bell models. Set of 12 Cornet Conn Connstellation Mouthpieces w/Carrying Case Gold/silver
Here is a beautiful set of Conn Connstellation Cornet Mouthpieces in a sharp looking black case with black velvet lining. The 12 mouthpieces appear to never have been played. There are no scratches or chips on any of the stems. There is some tarnish on them as they have been sitting in this box for many years. With just an occasional one removed to look at it. The 12 sizes are: 9CW(six) 9CN(three) 9BN(one) 7BW(one) 7CN(one) The case has two nice latches and smooth hinge and measures 13 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches by 2 inches. This is a unique set of mouthpieces with a great looking custom case. None of my trumpet player friends have ever seen a set like this- not sure why the various sizes. But they are all matching in finish and condition.

Vintage Getzen Capri Bb Cornet
I bought this horn from a dealer who told me it had been used by high school students in Paris(the one in Texas) This was at least 15 years ago. He completely refurbished the horn and did what I consider an out standing job. I am retired( from another profession. Not music) but have always liked to try to play and am a fairly good amateur but certainly not professional. In my view, this horn plays very well with a great mellow cornet sound. The intonation is good. There is a first valve slide trigger and a third valve slide ring to help with the usual trumpet and cornet intonation problems. The case and a Blessing 7C cornet mouthpiece are included. The case has some wear as you can see in the picture but is overall solid. You could spend a lot more money on a cornet that probably won't sound any better.

Terrific old Besson Cornet Silverplate. The Silverplate is in very good condition for it's age with very very small mark of wear that I can find which is where the thumb wraps around the valve when playing. Markings on the bell read"Chicago Bore; 50 Medals of Honour; BESSON& Co. Prototype" 198 Euston Road; London; then a star) England; C. Fischer; 6 4th Ave N.Y. Sole agent U. States" On the valves it is marked"Besson Brevete" and each valve is numbered 34. 35,36 and each valve cap on the bottom are also marked with the same numbers. Serial number marked on valves is 74834. There are two different lengths in the piece that attach for the mouth piece to fit onto. Each has it's own place in the case. The CASE is incredibly unique and it is leather but old and has metal foot studs on the bottom. I have never ... moreseen one like it. There is a large compartment beneath the section that holds the Cornet. Could hold addtional pieces, music, etc. The center section which holds the instrument has four holes for different mouth pieces(thats my guess) small Silver clips that hold the mouth piece lengths in place, matching clips to open the bottom section. All four of these clips have scrolling. When the case is closed there are metal clips on each side that fold up to make sure the case is kept closed safely. There is also a locking latch on th top and a hard formed leather leather covered handle. Cornet needs a good cleaning. I have had the valves out, bottom valve caps off and one slide out. I have not been able to pull the other slides but I am kind of old and am afraid of damaging it so I will leave that to you. RARE Reid's "Comfo-Rim" (MUCK) Cornet Cushion Rim Mouthpiece Model # 019 (3C)
This is a RARE Reids"Comfo-Rim" cushion rim) 019. From the late 1940's to early 1950's.The#019 translates to today's Bach 3C and the cushion rim allows for playing much longer periods without, experiencing any fatigue. The valves move smoothly and fast and all the slides move as well. The finish has some pitting on the bell tube. The horn shows some wear for its age but there are no dents or dings. 1953 Conn 80A Bb Cornet - Brass w/ Nickel - Beautiful & Functional!
Vintage 1953 Conn 80A Victor Cornet plus: a classic Conn Wonder mpc& a vintage case! S/N: 423042- 484" bore& Opera Glass tuning mechanism Polished Brass Finish w/ Nickel-plate Trim& Crooks• This nice 1953 Conn Victor cornet is from a transitional period; it's style was only produced for a couple of years around 1953. As the cornet's main body is polished brass with nickel trim and slide crooks. The serial number is 423042. It has the unique and typical micro-adjusted"Opera Glass" tuning slide. Located on the bell's tail. All valves are corrosion-free. Smooth, responsive, but they can quickly become sluggish when the oil coating on the valves gets depleted. All slides function properly. New waterkey springs& corks. The bore of this cornet is a# 2+1/2(per the older Conn reference) Which is a 0.484" ... moremeasure at the inner 2nd valve slide. And these mid-century horns are very solid and heavy. All-in-all. The horn is in pretty good shape; no damage other than minor dents. Which were raised by a qualified technician, nor has it had any major repairs. The horn has also been ultrasonically cleaned. A point of confusion is the appropriate time period of the top& bottom caps. Along with the finger buttons, although they are matching among themselves. But not confirmed to be the correct ones for the'53 vintage. Sorry. No additional pics; the camera stopped working. Note: What may appear to be a substantial wrinkle in one pic at the bellwire. Is not. The reflection of objects in the room is the cause of this. Seen in the right-side view. Included is a later-era vintage Conn Wonder short shank mouthpiece. Plus an attractive. Strong, and very serviceable 1960's case, which has an outer cover of black and an excellent plush red inner with a platform covering a storage compartment that's also in good shape. The horn. French Selmer Paris Trumpet Bb Brass Horn Parts Needs Work As is Project Cornet!
Up for sale I've got a French Paris Selmer Trumpet. It needs a restoration. Only missing parts a re the 3rd valve button. And the rod and screws for the 1st valve trigger. It has had an overhaul before. And someone added the trigger for the 3rd va lve slide. I'm 99% sure the trigger is an Olds Me nde z Model. Please look at the pictures. This is a needs res toration/for parts/ as is auction. I bought this horn with the intention of f ixing it up. But I' m getting married in June and getting rid of space wasting projects! T hanks! Olds Cornet(Special")complete rebuild and two tone finish-a strong player!!!!
A very nice cornet and a real player that has been finished in Gold and silver with Gold bell. This is a 1956 horn and can really light up! The valves are smooth and fast. There are no issues or dents as it was completely gone over for the the refinish. I bought it this way several years ago and now need to pass it on. Not playing cornet now! If you are looking for a good player that can peel the paint this is the one, excellent sound and easy playing, very open! Comes with case! Thanks

Vintage 1918 E.A. Couturier Co.Ltd Conical Bore Silver Trumpet~Cornet Engraved
This is a beautiful floral engraved old trumpet or cornet. Sorry. I don't know the difference. I found this at a local estate sale. With the exception of a few tiny dents here and there, it appears to be in good condition. It has mother of pearl on the buttons. It is marked Conical Bore, Patented, E.A.Couturia Co. Ltd. Sole Makers, Laporte, Ind. On the middle#2 cylinder thing it says, Pat. Sept.23'13, Other Pat. Pending Sept. 24, 18. Under that is M 2110. The mouthpiece is marked Karl Fuchs 7. This horn is silver metal. The darkened areas are tarnish, not pitted. I have other photos, if you would like to see more, or if you have any questions, please ask. I will try to answer.
