Here is another Robot from S.H. Horikawa made in Japan.This is a lesser known version of the* ASTRONAUT* robot family. Made early to mid 1960.S. He is all metal/ tin and stands 11 inches tall. This robot* DOES NOT WORK* I tried fresh batteries and nothing works- no sign of life. This version is painted silver/ gray instead of the more common dark green. He does not have the typical chest doors,either- the chest cannons are exposed on this version as well. Along with the fact that he does not work,his arms are very loose. Vintage Bruno Mahogany Ukulele project for repair "Hand Made Hawaiian Ukulele"
Here is an interesting mainland mahogany ukulele from almost 100 years ago for you. It will make a nice project with a little bit of time and care. It's intact but will need tuners and strings. The nut slots are very low so they will need to be filled and recut. Or the nut replaced. There is a small split at the soundhole on the top that needs to be fixed, and several other cracks have been repaired already as you can see in the photos. The label inside reads"Bruno Hand Made Hawaiian Ukulele" although I don't think it was made in Hawaii! Probably made in Chicago and sold in a catalog back in the day. The peghead shape is very cool. Not one you see often on vintage ukuleles. If you are looking for a bargain price on an old uke, a fun project, or a parts instrument, this might be the one for you!

Micro Seed Beads Chocolate Brown opaque 30 bpi 10grms doll costumes purse repair
Micro Antique Seed Beads Chocolate Brown opaque- 10 grams- about 30 beads per inch threaded- vintage. No longer made- loose in a bag There is an occasional odd bead in the mix. These beads were used to make beaded purses and do other bead work from 1700 through early 1900s. They are no longer made this small and quite rare. Because they were handmade. They may be irregular in shape and size. These beads are from the collection of my mother. Evelyn Haertig, who was well known for her beautifully restored antique purses and the three books she wrote on antique purses. My father did most of the photography for the books. We have her last book. Restoring and Collecting Antique Beaded Purses in an eBay auction and for sale on our website. The book in the photo above is NOT included with this auction. She spent hundreds(probably thousands) of hours ... moretaking apart antique. Unrepairable purses for the beads. She sorted them out by color and stored them in small bags. In the 1980s. She bought beads from dealers in this country, but she also traveled to France, Italy and Czechoslosvakia to the bead factories to study bead manufacture and bought whatever she could buy. I no idea where she acquired any of the particular beads I have up on eBay and in our collection. Because her eyesight was poor as she got into her 80s. Sometimes the bags of beads may have a few other colors mixed in. I have shown the beads with modern beads size 10/0 and a dime(not included in this auction) to help with the sizing. Remember that each computer monitor is different. I do my best to describe the color. But it may not look the same on your screen. Use for purse or lace repair. Here for auction is a great looking Art Deco Clock Case with a beautiful original label from Lumbers LTD. of Leicester the jewelers that were started in 1881. This clock was somewhere possibly 100 years ago sold at the famous jewelry. store. The case is in good condition only needing a light refinishing to be put into top condition. I am including the dial as shown that broke away from its bezel but still very useable. When the clock is plugged in, the second hand advances, but there's a bit of noise. The cord is about 8 1/2" feet long, and a bit stiff, but not frayed. The glass is missing. The dial ring has spots where the paint has been scratched. There is some discoloration on the hands, and the tip of the second hand is bent. The case is scuffed and scratched, and a small piece of the decorative bottom is broken off. The clock is about 5 5/8" across, 6 1/4" high, and 3 1/8" deep. This may be the next project you are looking for! This clock was part of 3 large collections we recently purchased.
