I have an RCA clock radio that would be a great project for the budding technician/ engineer. The clock works but the radio does not work. The tubes light up but I've found a wire off the speaker and the speaker appears to be open per my ohmmeter. I clipped another known good speaker to the output wires and still no sound. On the front there is a knob and the center piece of the tuner dial missing. Also. There is some wet then dried cardboard stuck to one side of the cabinet, otherwise the cab is in not bad shape. A mostly complete(missing some parts) set of Voigtlander"Nirvana" model 8x25 binoculars from pre-1945(exact age unknown to me) in rough condition. This model by Voigtlander is very scarce. The optics are all there(4 prisms. 2 objective lenses(one has glue separation) and the ocular lenses) Body is zinc, and has its original textured(rice aggragate) black paint(sections of paint missing- see photos) The metal components are zinc, brass, and steel. The prism covers have very little of the exterior paint showing. Markings are shallow, but readable(someone added 3- 44 Berlin in rub-down lettering- I have no idea who did this or when) Nine original screws(no paint on heads) No corrosion- threads are fine(covers require a total of ten screw- so one is missing) The other missing parts are: bakelite eyecups(x 2) Center axle nut(user end) ... moreinterpupilary scale& screw, objective lens shrouds(x 2) The two diopters are complete. With optics(the threads are worn, but not damaged) The center axle does not have any tension on it- due to the missing nut on the user end. There is no range graticule. There is an additional screw that may or may not belong to these glasses. Not tampered with, nothing modified or refinished.

I have had this for years and love it. It reminds me of Knight Rider. It has some problems though that I'm just not going to have time to fix so I'm putting it up for sale. The main thing is the CD player no longer reads CDs, it will recognize a disc is in it, spin it up and try to read it, but it can't read it so it won't play. Also I noticed there is a slight hum to the machine when I plug it in, even when the power is off. Othwerwise it works quite well, both tape players, radio, AUX in, etc. all tested and working. Comes with an original service manual as shown. Does not come with the speakers.
