Vintage Kay N2 Acoustic Guitar with Neat Case for Parts or Repair 1950s
Up for bid is a vintage Kay N2 dreadnaught style acoustic guitar with very nice case for parts or repair. Probably 1950s. The inside is ink stamped N2 L 3366. The back and sides are mahogany with a spruce top. The front and back are bound as well as the neck. Not sure what wood the neck is but the fret board is rosewood. The neck is straight. No cracks in the back or sides. This appears to be a higher end model. The guitar is missing the KAY logo on the head stock and the nut. The truss rod cover is cracked. There is a split in spruce top at the seam. The worst damage appears to be a crack in the spruce next to the fret board where the wood and binding has shifted. See last picture) I guess this calls for a reset of the neck. The good news is the tuners are Kluson Deluxe and the bridge and pick guard are present. The best part is the case ... moreis in excellent shape. It’s an odd shaped chip board case with hounds tooth pattern and stitched leather binding. The hinges complex latches and plastic handle are in perfect shape. The inside of the case measures 43" in length and 17& ½" at its widest point. Please view pictures. Used ProMac 3505AV-16" chainsaw. The primer bulb is broken but the choke works and it does start and run well. Saw has been setting for a couple of years since I brought it home from an auction. It ran fine when I brought it home. Yesterday I put a squirt of mix in the carb and it started and pulled fuel from the tank. It runs fine. Throttles up fine after warmup, and will sit and idle until it runs out of gas. Which it will do before I package it, so you will want to prime it once or twice when you first get it to make initial starting easier. I went out today, choked it, and it started on the third pull. Compression feels good to me but I'm not used to running small saws- I believe this one is 35cc. Having said that. I don't make any promises and I do not offer any kind of guarantee- selling As Is, for parts or repair. It's ... moremissing an anti-vibe mount at the bottom of the front handle(see last photos) I think you could find a suitable size rubber bumper and put a spring over the screws like the rear AV mount has and it would be fine. There is a rib missing from the cover over the clutch. Saw is dirty and has an auction number in permanent marker on the air filter cover. Recoil works fine. Throttle lock. This is a vintage jonsered 625 chainsaw for parts or repair. The saw will need to b gone over completely if being repaired. There are a few parts missing. Mainly to do with the intake system. The saws piston and cylinder have some scoring. But as I insoected it through the spark plug hole, it doesn't look completely melted and destroyed in there. The rewind starter rope is loose. It doesn't retract all the way. The spring will need some adjustment or tightening. It will retract every few pulls. But for the most part, it's stretched a bit and needs addressing. The saw does turn over and I hear no excessive sounds or noise in the crank area. I am not sure of crank bearing condition The carburetor is there. And part of the intake boot. There is also the opaque plastic intake part. I have a few other intake pieces here that were in ... morea box next to the saw. But I am not convinced they are part of this system. I see a plastic choke lever, but I am not sure if there's a metal rid that's missing or if it hooks to the existing parts. Be prepared for finding some parts for this. Also, the top cover and air filter cover have 2 studs, and they are both broken. There is a long stem sticking out of the mounting hole. And it can be easily removed, and the other stud has a clear mounting hole, but only a partial stud. The ignition coil is intact. And spark plug boot, but only one wire comes through to the switch are. The kill switch and another wire are robbed from the saw. They are missing. The top handle and cases look pretty good. Typical wear and tear. But no big breaks or cracks. The chain brake handle is intact and it activats forward and back. But with no force. I believe it is missing it's tension spring. So. There may be a part needed here as well. While cleaning the saw. We hadn't drained all the oil out of the

Very unique necklace. Measures approx. 9 inches total from top to bottom. The bottom pendant has nice weight to it. The entire piece is about 15 grams on my packing scale. I have not tested for actual silver but it has a lovely patina/ slight tarnish. Not"cheap" in feel or look. Appears hand carved and actually has carved initials in back of pendant"J L t" If you wanted to take it apart and just wear the pendant you certainly could.
