Cosmetically it is in superb condition but is electrically untested. It was missing the fuse when I obtained it so I assume it needs to be serviced by a competent technician and I will not try to power it up. It appears that the prior owner replaced all of the electrolytic capacitors sometime in the past. All tubes are present. Four 7591’s and six 12ax7’s. The transformers are untested but show no evidence of overheating. The wood case is solid walnut. It is in nice shape except for a ding in the front on the right side at the top. Saw was backed over. Broke tank, top and rear handle. No bar/chain and can't find filter. Low hours, no muffler discoloration, seems to have great compression- fires right off with a shot of mix. Chainbreak good. Sending it flat. Rats- $17.50, so broken handles, pullstarter, etc removed to fit in box for cheap shipping. Saw is as is, great one to fix up or use for parts. Hand pieced crazy quilt with very small pieces. Beautiful design! I am not an expert in the antique quilt field. So I will be giving my opinion only and describe what I see. Many. Many different colors of fabric. A lot of the fabric is silk and a lot of the pieces are shredded because of age. A beautiful array of fabric designs. It looks like the first backing is hand woven wool. I did a burn test to a tiny piece of the first backing and it smoked but did not burn. Wool does not burn, it only smokes and puts itself out. It is naturally fireproof. The red backing also appears to be hand woven under magnification. The triangle fabric pieces are hand pieced. ... moreProbably the quilt was originally hand quilted. Somewhere back in time it was stitched on an old treadle machine. The thread is very thick under magnification. I think it should be displayed in a museum because these are getting harder and harder to find. And they are an American treasure. This is a beautiful antique work of art. Lovingly made by someone's hands. It measures approximately 48" x 50" and needs to be restored or repaired or upcycled and repurposed. Sold as a repair quilt. Please see the photos for details. I am only able to do limited testing since I lack the equipment and knowledge to test this fully. I was able to access this through the serial port and send basic commands through a console. When I tried to test the network card I had issues with port B. Port A works fine. And I was able to ping it with my computer. For some reason port B won't even recognize my network at all. The"ERR" light, lights up and the errors appear to be related to networking stuff. I didn't notice any passwords setup in the console. ... moreBut I am not sure if there are any setup. Antique/Primitive 2 Handle Wood Glass Serving Tray, Prim Decor, Needs Repair
Very old wood tray with a glass top. This came from an old estate auction and when I got it home I found the glass was taped to the back. I removed all of the tape to clean this item as it was very dirty- had been stored in an out building for who knows how long. The wooden frame has metal handles and each corner has metal leaf look inserts. The top of the frame looks like it has an antique gold applied to the varnish. I have no idea how the glass was painted- there is a dark design in the center and the rest looks like it has been varnished. Parts of the varnish on the glass have been scraped off. Solid Bronze Ships Telegraph (LowerDeck) for parts or repair
This is a heavy bronze lower deck ships telegraph. It shows signs of being removed from it's pole as well. Both front and rear plates are missing and one of the arms inside appears to have been cut with some sort of metal saw. It is very heavy for it's size and is solid bronze with what I think is nickel plating? In any case please see all photos as they offer a much better description than I can and see condition report as well. This is a really cool looking piece and I am sure it is not a reproduction. I showed it to a friend of mine who served on a ship in the Korean War and he said this was a Lower Deck telegraph. This will be a great restoration project for someone or just display it as it is.
