Kiev 88 Medium Format SLR Body for parts or repair
Does your Kiev 88 need a donor parts body? If so read on! For sale I have a Kiev 88 body with an unknown history. Cosmetically it appears reasonably well-kept and shows no major signs of abuse. Though there are a handful of scuffs and small scratches which can be seen in the photos. Mechanically there is a metal piece just behind the lens mount that is very loose and can swing out beyond the edge of the lens mount or under the mirror which doesn't seem right. This metal piece can be seen in the middle of last photo. Also. I think there are supposed to be shutter curtains covering the back, but on this body there are not! Shutter curtains need repair/replacement. The mirror flips up when hitting the shutter button. And then returns down upon turning the wind knob. The focus screen is in good condition. But it does have a couple minor scratches ... moreon it. The leatherette is peeling in a few places, and would either need to be replaced or re-glued. There you have it!

The shutter on the camera still works, the woman we purchased it from said it worked, but I do not know anything about this, so being sold for parts or repair only. Zeiss-Ikon CONTAX III - camera body only - FOR PARTS OR REPAIR
For auction here is a Zeiss-ikon Contax III camera body only- in need of someone who knows more than I do about these cameras. the shutter is stuck in the open position. I cannot get it to reset. the winder still turns. The shutter speed dial can still be repositioned. the meter needle has a little movement to it. But I doubt it is accurate. other than that. The camera has some dust and dirt in the crevices of the camera and shows standard wear form age and use(see pics) but no major damage to the body. All mechanics(other than the shutter) seem to be OK someone with some knowledge of this camera might be able to get it working easily enough due to the condition. Kowa Camera Over the next few days. Possibly weeks, I will be listing many cameras that belonged to my Father. He was a camera buff and many of his cameras have been cataloged with description and condition. I will test functions to the best of my ability but if I have missed anything and you are unhappy with your camera just return it for a refund. This is a Japanese Kowa Super 66 Camera with an attached prism finder. The camera comes with two lenses. The one attached to camera is f:1:28/85mm serial#1231348. The additional lens is f:1:305/150mm#1463028. Cosmetically the camera looks nice. Just a little paint loss. The leather that surrounds the winding arm has fallen off but it is present. The rubber eye piece around the prism finder is dry rotted. When I look into the finder I don't see anything, does the camera need to be cocked? If ... moreso, that is where the big problem is, it is wound, but not cocked. Because of this I can't take the magazine off, just the back. I also can't take the lens off until it is fixed. So I am selling this camera for parts or repair. Both of the lenses look good to me.
