Which in turn is based off a Buchla inspired Triangle core VCO. The exponential circuit, sync circuit, and fm moduation circuit was added and not part of the original advanced vco. What does this do? This is an analog triangle core oscillator. What this means is the first internal wave produced is a triangle wave. Then wave shaper circuits help form the other wave shapes in the chain. This modules produces the main audio for your synthesizer. Consider it your main'voice' So why would you care to use a triangle core vco? The secret is all in the'Sync' Circuit. Can do an awesom vibrato/chorus as well as a sweet sounding compression. I mostly used it for the compression when playing live, used it for recording/ambience too. Misplaced the original box but does come with the instructions and the original battery(I take batteries out when I buy pedals) so it should have plenty of juice! Up for auction is my RARE Boss RE-1000 Digital Multi Echo. This unit is a blast to fool around with. There is a pair of front panel inputs(with stereo out on the back panel) Each channel has input level control. There is a TWO BAND EQ section which is nice for rolling off the top end. Emphasizing bass, or adding treble. There is an output balance knob that can be set to 100% wet(for use in a an effects loop) There is a decay knob and a mode selector knob. Then there is the"warmth" knob.which adds a slow warbling tape echo modulation simulation to the signal(and it sounds fantastic) There are normal echos, multi echos(sort of like a multi-tap) echo/reverb combos, and even some reverbs. There is no precise"time" control on the unit but there is quite a variation of choices available in each category. This thing is very easy ... moreto use: Select your program of choice, adjust input, mix, EQ and decay time, then(if you dare) crank in some"warmth" for some very unique sounds. Heathkit 51-34 Apache TX-1 Modulation Transformer
This is the modulation transformer from a Heathkit Apache TX-1 transmitter. I checked the transformer with an ohmeter with readings I would expect from the primary and secondary windings and no shorts between the windings or to the case. I applied 300 VDC between the windings and the case which showed no leakage to the case. I also applied AC to the primary windings and got output voltage from the secondary windings. As seen from the pictures. The case is in good cosmetic condition. The transformer measures 4-1/4" high with the base 4-7/16" by 3-9/16"

Great working Casio SK-5 sampling keyboard. Fully tested and all keys. Sliders, pads, buttons, and functions work just as they should. Sampling function works fine. The only things to mention are very typical with this keyboard. rear battery compartment cover is missing, one of the little gray slider tops on the left is missing but it doesn't affect the ability to move the slider in any way, and a couple of the black keys have some wobble but play fine. The contact terminals are solid and actually hold the batteries in place just fine so they don't fall out even with movement. No corrosion in battery case. This was also tested with both a power supply and AA batteries(neither included) and it operates fine off either. Nice old school Casio sampler that's still very popular and useful today. General Electric Frequency Modulation Translator FM tube receiver XFM1 WORKS!
A beautiful"Frequency Modulation Translator" model XFM1 by General Electric. I believe this is circa 1948 or so. This unit works perfectly! It does not have amplification capabilities. you can't just hook it up to a speaker. Connecting the Audio Out cable to any amplifier with a RCA input will allow you to hear crystal clear FM. Even with the internal antenna! The backlighting for the dial works, and the tuning knob feels great. The Audio Out cord has been replaced with a more modern gold plated RCA cable, but it mimics what the unit had new. It does have some scratches and scuffs, but it is very presentable. Judge it's condition from my photos. The back cover does have one corner broken off. It's 24 pounds all by itself, please keep that in mind when bidding because it won't be super cheap to ship.
