Teac A-420 Cassette Deck Sidewards Load and Nice Cabinet LOOK!
I am somewhat of a cassette fan and am selling my collection of unique and high end cassette decks. I still have a lot of tapes that I recorded. I am currently using a B&O integrated system with the deck built in. I have always thought that someday I would put new belts in thes decks I kept as they were all working until a belt deteriorated or stretched as is the case with this deck. The rewind and fast forward still work but the play does not turn. The heads move into position but the drive belt is gone. This deck was made in 1975 when Cassettes were still exciting and evolving as a replacement to Reel to reel decks. It cost $350.00 new which was a lot of money back then! More than I paid for my first car in 1973! You will not be disappointed with this deck.
