Up for bids is an early General Electric Analog Type Ammeter. The meter is in good condition. It has no case or housing. The meter's paper face is clean and in good overall condition. There are a few marks, but none is severe. The perimeter is a little creased at the bottom, but overall, it is not too bad. The meter is marked 0- 400 Amperes. G.E. CO. USA. NO. 558005, NP 18911, Type AR, A. 5/400 C.T. 80:1. Pat'd Sep. 28, 15 and June 11, 18. The black bakelite frame bears the number as follows: MP 1377703 and theres a handwritten number on the meter movement supports: 558005. The pointer is also in good clean condition and it moves freely. The coil measures about 1 ohm and the pointer deflects when tested with a weak battery. Wiring is via two threaded brass rods. Each rod has a nice brass flange on the inside of the meter back side. ... moreThree small slotted screws remain in their original holes from the original assembly. This power supply is in top shape with only a few rub marks on the sides. The clear plastic protective sheet is still on the front panel. A Fluke multimeter(not included) showed a regulated output of 13.73 VDC. When tested with a ham transceiver it was noise free.
