Silverline Sanding Maching SL-8
The SL-8 features a 1HP constant speed motor. Soft rubber drum and our unique cam locking system. When combined they work like a professional sander. The sand paper is held between 2 springloaded cams while the slow 1800 RPM constant speed of the drum will not gouge floors. The tilt action of the SL-8 also allows for a more controlled and even sanding. The weight of the machine is specially designed and evenly distributed for best results.

Silverline Floor Sander SL-8 Used Twice
NO Reserve High Bidder Wins Very Nice Silverline SL-8 floor sander that has been used for two jobs. I bought this from a floor guy that went out of business. It was literally used on two jobs since new. It sat in his barn for a couple years and it has some surface corrosion(rusty bolt heads and slight aluminum oxidation) Original belts and drum are like new and it works perfect. I was going to rent it out. But my customers like the tube paper on the Clarke machines and I decided to buy another EZ-8 instead. This is a really nice sander and my wholesale cost new now is $2243. Essex Silverline SL-8 drum sander. The SL-8 features a 1HP constant speed motor. Soft rubber drum and our unique cam locking system. When combined they work like a professional sander. The sand paper is held between 2 spring loaded cams while the slow 1800 RPM constant speed of the drum will not gouge floors. The tilt action of the SL-8 also allows for a more controlled and even sanding. The weight of the machine is specially designed and evenly distributed for best results. It works great and comes with a bunch of sand paper. The amount of paper is as follows- 38 100 grit, 30 80 grit, 35 60 grit, 18 36 grit, and 34 20 grit. I purchased this item used on Ebay a few years ago just to have as part of my equipment in case I decided to do wood floors. I have never used the items accept to plug them in and power them on. All appears to be in proper working order. I had not originally noticed that when I was delivered the drum sander it had a weld coming loose under the motor on the bracket as shown in photo. I am not going to surprise anyone else with this repair which will probably be around $50 to weld the bracket as strong as ever. It is a used essex silver-line SL 8 drum wood floor sander with a baldor 1 HP 115/220V motor. I am including a used Porter Cable Rotary Type E-6 Edger 3/4HP 115V. I am including a new spare bag for the drum sander and one for the edger. I am including one box of#10& one box of#60 drum sand paper sheets. 5 packages of rotary sander ... moresheets.
