This is a Mid Century Modern Danish Style Floor Lamp. It has a 3 way lighting feature. This lamp is in great working condition with the original cord and wiring. Slight wear near switch. The shades are original to the lamp and are also in great condition. Nice and clean. The lamp is a brass tone.Measures 70 inches tall, and comes apart in the middle just below the switch. Vintage Mid-Century Modern Brass Pole Lamp Trumpet Shade Description: Vintage Mid-Century Modern Brass Plated Pole Lamp with Trumpet Shade and a 3-way turn brass light switch. Graceful elegant lines come together to create a brilliantly proportioned. Slim floor lamp that has the look and feel of a Laurel trumpet lamp, though manufacturer of this light is unknown. Measurements& Condition: This light measures 67-1/2" high. It has a 10" weighted base and the trumpet shade has a 7-1/2" diameter. It is in very good working condition with wear/patina typical for a lamp of this age including a few scratches on the inside of the shade. Which is lined with white enamel. Here we have a used Eaton/Cutler-Hammer model CN35DN4 four pole 30A magnetic lighting contactor. It is actually made up of two separate two pole contactors mounted on a common plate. It came from the factory in this configuration. The two contactors could easily be removed from the plate and used independently. Each contactor also has a normally open auxiliary contact in addition to the two power poles. The contacts are rated to switch up to 30 amps and up to 600 volts AC. Each contactor has a 277 volt operated magnetic coil. This contactor is used but in good operating condition. It was removed from a large commercial lighting control panel. Vintage Cast Aluminum Pole Lamp Outdoor Lighting 11" Torchiere Shade Scalloped
Like the Mulberry pathway lights I sold previously. This shade was acquired after Hurricane Hugo in 1989; and since no manufacturer or other information present on this heavy cast aluminum piece, about all I know about it's origin is that it is at least 25 years old. It is about 11" from longest scallop edge to the threaded end and about 10 3/4" widest across front. The smaller pipe end is 3" outside diameter and threaded sleeve is 2 1/2" long, walls 3/8" thick and interior diameter about 2 1/4" to accommodate threaded pole mount. Threads have some oxidation but appear continuous and just in need of WD-40 or similar when cleaned for attachment. Some black paint loss down to aluminum in areas, some later paint spatter from previous installation. No structural damage or any visible defects, other than normal ... moresurface wear for age. Nice repeating S curve design embossed in-mold on each of the 8 panels and scalloped edge also an unusual touch compared to most pole lamps. This auction is for SHADE ONLY. Pipe fittings appear very similar to those I have had with gas station/mushroom shade pole lamps, and I expect the light fixture would also be similar. However, you can use it in any configuration you can figure out- including hanging downward should you have a pole shaped like a candy cane or decide to use another method to turn it into a down light.
