The motor on my old inducer started making a lot of noise and gave up the ghost after 10 years. Water heater seemed good so I found a new inducer and control box for $200.00 and installed it. You almost know the rest of the story.2 months later my heater started to leak. And I needed a new heater and I could only find one locally that already had the inducer installed. So.if you can use one, here is a good deal. The inducer, plus the new control unit never installed and the old control box that was reinstalled on the new inducer. This required no changes.just connected the electric plug to the old unit rather that the new one.

Here's the story. My son lives in North Dakota. He was experiencing a shortage of hot water just before one of our visits(parents) He hears a squealing noise from this blower motor on top of his water heater so he buys a new one and replaces it. That didn't fix it. The water heater is 15 years old and they live in a hard water area. Time for a new water heater. Off to Home Depot and he finds the one he needs but it has the blower attached. This one. Less than two(2) weeks old is excess to his needs. I brought it back to Texas and told him I would sell it on eBay for him. I took 11 pictures to show the condition. It looks new because it's virtually new. I have the book and the rubber collar that apparently connects it to the vent pipe. For Sale Fasco Draft Inducer Blower Assembly. Stock# W4 I bought brand new on 2/22/2014 as my old blower went out. Now the AO Smith water heater went out so no longer need this blower. Great working condition. I will also include the original blower for parts if requested. Motor works fine on the old blower but the fan blade inside is cracked up.
