This is a great item that retails for over $450 I just bought a brand new one here's my story: So two years ago I bought a coal stove and this power vent set up was installed with it so this past month it stopped working at the worst possible time in-25 windchill weather so I looked locally for a new motor which I failed miserably so I took the motor down and realized it was locked up so I called a small engine repair shop in town& they said they could rebuild it for $89 so I had no choice I paid it and within an hour I had heat again So after getting it fixed& installing it two weeks ago a couple days ago it was making a bad racking sound but was still working so I called the company and they told me they put used bearings in it because that was all they had and it was an emergency so I looked around again for either a new motor ... moreor a new complete unit and only found the complete unit. Because I was afraid to be stuck in the cold again, I purchased it, installed it and my coal stove is back to heating the house again So my opinion on this item is that it still works it just rattles and gets loud. If your great at repairing motors or replacing bearings then this is a great deal for you because these are really expensive I found one on here for $300 so this is a great deal if you want to use it till it breaks again or just fix it when you get it you can also see in the pictures that this item is dusty and also needs the 3 prong plug but like I said it was just fixed two weeks ago and still works but I would replace the bearing with a new one if I purchased this trying to save some money I will ship it as soon as I receive cleared payment Thank you for looking& good luck bidding! I purchased this Fasco W-4 Power Vent new two years ago for my AO Smith 40 gallon Natural Gas hot water heater which was 13 years old at the time and installed it myself. This Power Vent costs $217.00 new at the time and works fine. The water heater has now given out and the new ones come with power vents. It has 1 female sensor connector that is a block of 6. 3 above and 3 below. The connection needs to be made to the gas control thermostat valve in order for the blower to work. The white label on the motor reads Universal Electric Motor.

I have a used but in good working condition power vent. I upgraded to a 90 plus furnace that vents with pvc so I don't need this kit anymore. There is a little rust on the outside unit hit it doesn't hurt how the unit works. I do have some of the vent pipe that I can include if you are interested.
