This exhaust fan is made for venting flammable/explosive areas. Such as spray paint booths, flammable storage areas etc. The Fan is 34" size. Has two mounting rings attached on each end for angle ring mounting in duct system, or bolting directly to paint booth. Has a cast aluminum constructed, non sparking blade. The fan is built to Factory Mutual standards, and is approved by same. The motor is a Dual V- belt drive. Belts are in very good condition, very little wear. AL-17 may be the alloy used to make the tube(a kind of stainless steel) but I don't know if this is the case. My magnet sticks to the housing, but I would say it has a comparatively weak hold, so the ferris metal content is lower in my opinion. I originally thought it was aluminum due to the general light weight of this fan compared to an all steel one. Condition: Used.
