I had an artist paint three famous indians on its side. This machine could grace any mansion as well as a home. The technology in it was so revolutionary at the time and it still would impress any MIT graduate. Gaggia Americana 1957 2 group VINTAGE lever pull ESPRESSO MACHINE
For sale is a 1957-59 model year Gaggia Americana. This is a propane/ electric espresso machine that has had a high level of modernization. This machine has a lot of history behind her and has quite the linage of historical footnotes in the annuals of Espresso machine history. An espresso machine of this caliber comes out all of once a year. The only other machines in comparable class run upwards of 10k plus. The chrome is in good condition. The paint schema is in very good shape and does not need work. Everything is period authentic except the wiring harness and safety(And for you techies out there it’s an RL-30 auto fill box) The lever mechanisms have been professionally rebuilt by our co-op workshop in Seattle with Republic Espresso machine techs. As for systems on board the gauge is original stock period authentic. The element runs 26-27(in ... moreexcellent shape) The sight glass seals are in good shape. The piston seals are in functioning order and have the asbestos bars/gasket arrangement. The chamber walls are smooth without nicks or wear. The lever action is smooth and consistent. The propane assembly looks to be in good order with igniter. Hot water tap has minor flaking on chrome assembly but still maintains good cosmetic condition and working order. The handles are period authentic. There is a modified pressure relief valve on board and a safety unit in case of overheats. The mercury pressure switch was replaced with a modern Sirai pressure stat. This is a machine that can actually be used in a commercial setting. Gaggia Americana 1977 2 group VINTAGE lever pull. For sale is a 1977-79 model year Gaggia Americana. This is a propane/ electric espresso machine that has had a high level of modernization. This machine has a lot of history behind her and has quite the linage of historical footnotes in the annuals of Espresso machine history. An espresso machine of this caliber comes out all of once a year. The only other machines in comparable class run upwards of 10k plus. The chrome is in good condition. The paint schema is in very good shape and does not need work. Everything is period authentic except the wiring harness and safety(And for you techies out there it’s an RL-30 auto fill box) The lever mechanisms have been professionally rebuilt by our co-op workshop in Seattle with Republic Espresso machine techs. As for systems on board the gauge is original ... morestock period authentic. The element runs 26-27(in excellent shape) The sight glass seals are in good shape. The piston seals are in functioning order and have the asbestos bars/gasket arrangement. The chamber walls are smooth without nicks or wear. The lever action is smooth and consistent. The propane assembly looks to be in good order with igniter. Hot water tap has minor flaking on chrome assembly but still maintains good cosmetic condition and working order. The handles are period authentic. There is a modified pressure relief valve on board and a safety unit in case of overheats. The mercury pressure switch was replaced with a modern Sirai pressure stat. This is a machine that can actually be used in a commercial setting. We are NW Espresso machines. I have had this machine for about two years. Shortly after acquiring it. I took it to MR. ESPRESSO in Oakland, CA- a sales& repair shop run by a crew of talented old Italian men. They gave it a full tune-up, replacing the pump and a lot of the old rubber tubing as well as a full cleaning. It functions wonderfully, it has served me well and I took good care of it. Most importantly, it makes super espresso. Super-sturdy cast aluminum build. Copper boiler(08 gal. 6 gal. water reservoir, solinoid valve, over-pressure valve, three-hole steam tip, spring-loaded commercial-sized(58mm) portafilter. Now called the Faema Family, this is the better, burlier, original-version with the brass(as opposed to aluminum) boiler. This is a Carimali s.eco e2 professional espresso machine from the 90's that I cleaned and rebuilt. It's all there and looks great but I have no way to test- so as is. Gaggia GX 1-Group Commercial Lever Piston Espresso Machine 120V Vintage *Rebuilt
Description: For sale is a beautiful Gaggia GX Lever Machine. Standard 120V 15A. It features a combination of red panels with chromed and brushed stainless steel finish on the outer panels. Our objective in every renovation is it bring a machine back to the way it was functioning when it left the factory. This Gaggia has been stripped down to the frame and every component has been carefully serviced. All other non-serviceable parts have been replaced- gaskets. O-rings, seals, safety valves, etc. Boiler. Tubes, valves and other various components susceptible to hard-water buildup were fully descaled. The internal frame was sandblasted and any trace of rust has been treated before being repainted. You will see that the entire group assembly has been fully rebuilt. The lower group assembly has also been professionally re-chromed to bring back ... moreit's original luster. We paid special attention to the lever mechanism and the piston assembly to ensure they would function flawlessly for years. There are some dings here and there on the panels but it is in very good condition for its age. The single-shot portafilter is barely used but there is a chip on the back of the bakelite handle where it was probably dropped. The lamp at the top panel lights up when the boiler is filling. The lamp next to the group lights up when the boiler is heating. The pictures below only show some parts of the rebuild process. If you have a question about anything. Don't hesitate to ask. In addition to the renovation. Some updates were made to this machine as well. Electrical System Upgrade: The original machine operated on 220V and was hardwired without an ON/OFF power switch(not uncommon on commercial units) For convenience. We swapped out all the 220V electrical components with factory equivalent 120V parts. These are exactly the parts which the machine would have came equipped with if it was intended for 120V use. Vintage decorative commercial Dome Top Espresso Machine label Romanelli 39”tall
This listing is for a vintage commercial decorative dome top espresso machine labeled Romanelli on one side it weighs about 176 lbs. and stands about 39”tall the base is about 21”wide the center cylinder is about 13-1/2” wide and 27” tall. It is made of chromed brass and iron. I am selling this as a collectible or restoration project as I can see there are some condition issues and I have no Idea if it is complete or the condition of the attachments. A little ... morehistory The first machines for making large quantities of coffee were built in the late 1800’s- early 1900’s. While the first true espresso machine that used steam pressure to force hot water though the coffee grounds was made in 1901 by Ingegner Luigi Bezzera. It was an imposing machine, essentially a tall column of boiling hot water(there was a safety valve too) with cup holders on either side, machines based on the design quickly became popular, though they were expensive enough that only larger locations in cities could afford them. Soon all the elegant bars were offering espresso, made by a barista whose primary job was to tend the espresso machine. Carefully. Because the espresso machines based on Ingegner Bezzera's design could explode- in 1946 one did. One big problem with the Bezzera design is that it produced the same sort of espresso coffee one gets from a home pot. Be it a Moca pot or a Neapolitan pot. This is one beautiful machine i can.T find one like it.it is made of hammered copper with gold plated trim.it is very heavy.i don,t know how much it ways but i would say a couple hundred pounds or more.thats just a guess.there is a crack in the glass on the steam dial as you can see in the pictures.there is only 3 handles. there is some normal ware on the gold plating and other areas. and some light normal scratches here and there which is expected for something this old.the size is 49" wide x42" high x21 deep.it came from" Chicago Hyatt House night club"it now is located in park ridge,il.this is pick up only sale.or you can make arrangements to have it shipped.this is sold as is.thanks for looking. Vintage Rancilio Espresso Machine Copper and Brass
This Vintage Rancilio Espresso Machine looks beautiful with brass and hammered copper. I purchased it at auction from DaVincis restaurant in Columbus 2006. It is Gas/Elec but I never did get it refurbished or up and running. It still is a showcase item and would add beauty and ambiance to any coffe shop or cafe. The brass dome and eagle are worth $300 on their own.

VINTAGE FAEMA FUTUREMA ESPRESSO MACHINE CAPPUCCINO E81 Commercial - PICKUP ONLY
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! This listing is for(1) used and untested cappucino and espresso machine as seen in the pictures above. This is a large HEAVY Espresso/ Cappuccino machine. The Futurema name and model numbers are cross referenced to Faema machines. So this seems to be a Faema product. It is a beautiful old machine, solid and built to last. It is a beast, and very difficult for even a strong person to lift by themselves. Based on research and the font used on the placard/emblem, we are guessing the 1980's, but we aren't sure. The wall plug on this unit appears to use a configuration used in 220v applications, and is possibly of European origin, but we cant be certain of either. Please assume that 220v service may be nescesary to operate the machine. Electrical wiring and this type of equipment are definitely outside of our sphere ... moreof knowledge. I was not able to plug this in and test it due to the fact of the plug not matching up with anything I have. This came from a business sale where the place shut down. It is not in perfect condition. It does have some blemishes and scratches and other signs of age and wear. The outer shell is brown with black and chrome on it. There are 5 portafilters included with this machine. Two of them are doubles and all of them have a screen. One side has a knob for steam and one side has a hot water knob. It looks like hot water dispensing side might need a new dispener fitting/valve. I am not sure if all of the parts are here for this item to make it 100% complete. Pieces of the outer shell are removable to allow access to the inside. The drip tray is also removable and reveals the water connections etc inside when pulled out. Unit is untested and may require maintenance, repair, parts, etc to be fully functional. I lightly cleaned this up but it can use a deeper cleaning once received. Gauge and other parts shown are all included. Payment to be accepted upon pick up. Cannot accept PayPal for local pickup items. This is being sold AS IS as seen and described. NO RETURNS. Aga
