I don't know. The case looks to be out of alignment and there are some scuff marks evident. Leads me to think that maybe this beauty was dropped or bumped or ran into maybe. My Pony Espresso machine is beyond repair(the top opened up and it blows steam through the kitchen like a locomotive- scary) so I'm parting it out. Plastic wand with metal head. I think this is the upgraded version. This steaming wand has minor signs of use. But it's in overall very good condition. It's a heavy solid piece and comes apart for easy cleaning. The espresso machine is ETL/ NSF certified for commercial operation. Back in June 2013 I had a tune-up performed on this machine at Espresso Services in Minneapolis. New these machines now sell for $3300+ The espresso machine has some surface scratches/rubs and one minor indentation on the top left of the machine right next to the cup warmer tray. These are cosmetic only and I did my best to exaggerate the cosmetic scratches with the photos I took. In every day lighting the scratches are not as obvious as shown in the pictures. It isn't in perfect condition and has a few scrapes and dings in various places, but if you are into the art of making coffee and are not hip to the pre-set, box store type of garbage most shops unfortunately are selling today, this machine is for you! History of the machine as I know it: I bought this machine in 1997 from a coffee shop in Little Rock. Arkansas called, The Coffee Beanery. The franchise had bought their local shop a new machine but the local owner was keeping this machine as a back-up, in case something happened to the new one. I had tried buying it the previous year but the owner was kind of attached to it because of it's uniqueness and the quality ... moreof espresso it produced. After asking him to sell it multiple times, he finally gave in, and it became mine. I had wanted to open my own shop but was unable to make it happen until 2002. And that year opened a small coffee bar called the, Seventh Bean Coffee Bar, in Magnolia, Arkansas. The machine worked perfectly with no problems for two straight years and produced some of the best espresso I've ever had. The shop didn't do as well as expected and I moved in 2004. I have held onto this machine all of this time while tossing around the idea of letting it go, but down deep cringing at even the thought! But I'm moving again and hate to just see it setting there and not being used, so I've decided to let it go. I hooked it up a few years ago and there was a valve stuck open that wouldn't stop the water from filling up the tank. So I know that will need to be replaced. And there's a, dispersion screen, that came off that will need to be put back on. To my knowledge those are the only known problems.
