Two trees have a crack at the base and 2 slight cracks on a fence but they look fabulous and it doesn't take away from their look. The worst thing is that one tree has a lean which makes standing on its own a little precarious. The trees are 5 1/2" 6" tall. The fences are 6" x 2 1/4" tall. The paint is in excellent condition. This is a superb example of an antique Majolica. `Ribbon& Picket Fence` Pitcher. dating from circa. 1870. The pitcher is superbly decorated with relief moulded pattern of ribbons and bows, against a picket fence background, rope twist handle, finished in a glaze typical of majolica wares. The pitcher is in good condition. There are no cracks or chips. There is a little age-related wear to the glaze on the rim edge. and a small blemish on the rim, which is underneath the glaze and therefore from the time of manufacture, these are minimal. as shown in the photos. This is a rusty piece of old architectural iron. It has been sitting around here for I dont know how long. It is heavy and large and will last. Outdoors, for a lifetime. That is because it was designed to be used in gates and ornate fences. It is beautiful and detailed, maybe a religious design. This piece is 27" tall by 15 1/2" wide. OLD TRELLIS OR GATE SECTION, RUSTY GOTHIC CAST IRON, 3' TALL ARCHITECTURAL FENCE
This is a great piece and one of my favorite. It is a fence fragment. Heavy cast iron that is very rusty. It is solid and architectural. Meaning it is made to weld into a gate or fence. It looks great in the garden with roses or ivy. Or any vines growing through it. Looks ancient in any garden setting. Just stick it in the ground, it will last a lifetime.
