JET JPM-13 Molder/Planer - Great Condition Plus Many Molder Blades
This auction is for a JET JPM-13 molder/planer. I purchased the machine directly from JET in 1998. And we used it to produce moldings for one house remodeling job. Since then, it has been used occasionally for some molding work. I am selling this unit because I decided that a separate planer and a separate molder(a DeWalt and a Williams& Hussey) would be a better fit for my shop. This machine is in very nice operational and cosmetic condition. Although it is dusty from being in my shop(as you can see in the pictures) The paint on the molder looks excellent and appears just about the same as when I bought the machine new. The cast iron bed is clean and not rusted. When the machine was last used(about two years ago) it continued to produce fantastic moldings and did a nice job planing. The planer blade in the machine probably needs replacing ... moreto produce smooth cuts. The bearings and the lifting gear probably also need to be lubricated. This auction also includes a large number of molder bits. Many of these molder bits were originally purchased from Sears Craftsman for a molder/planer/joiner unit that I had. They fit perfectly in the Jet molder's head- it is exactly the same"Foley-Belsaw" design. That was one of the reasons that originally I purchased this machine) These molder bits include a wide variety of molding shapes and some crown moldings. Some of the bits have never been used. Williams and Hussey W-7S Molder-Planer
This is a Williams and Hussey W-7 Molder-Planer with original Baldor 1.5 horsepower motor. Also include are the two motor pivots which carry a cast bar on the base of the motor. A roller for outfeed support and the edge guides which clamp to the bed. There's a V belt too. It has the power infeed and the motor runs fine but no guarantees. There is a set of planer blades on the machine but no molding blades. There is a bunch of printed papers with a list of available blades and instructions. I bought it from a friend about ten years ago and never used it but at the time it worked perfectly for him. It is built like a tank; the planer unit by itself weighs about 75 pounds. For Sale is a Craftsman#306 planer/moulder. This will plane board a board 8" wide x 4" thick. I have replaced both feed rollers. Added a mobile stand, and the planer runs well. In addition to the new feed rollers, I have a brand new pair of planing knives to go with it. The interesting feature about this planer is that you can run moulding knives and create your own custom moldings. I wish I could keep it. But I'm moving and its got to go.

Straight planer blades that are mounted on the cutter head, a brand new set of planer blades that have never been used and a set of new chair rail blades. My plan is to remove the motor and machine from the mobile base and ship each separately. So the motor, machine, and base will each ship in a separate crate. Shipping will be $200. Its around 7-8 years old I believe. Cant find recipet. No motor or stand included. Stole the 2hp molder for a blower. It turns on very quietly and runs smoothly. The infeed and outfeed rollers are a bit worn but they still work well. The cutters are sharp and yield a smooth cut on the board. There is a molder head on it with trim cutters. They are very sharp. The adjustment up and down works well. I really don't see anything wrong with this except that it will need a new set of drive belts. Which should be pretty cheap. I live in zip code 37406 in Chattanooga. TN. I can deliver it for $1.50 per loaded mile. I can meet you somewhere. I can deliver it to your house. Woodmaster 612 Wood Planer, Molder, Sander, Variable Speed feed, 5HPcutter motor
This is a wood planer that can handle 12" wide and 6" thick lumber. It has a separate variable speed motor for feeding stock. The cutter motor is 5HP. This machine has a drum sanding head. One of it's strengths is it's ability to make moldings. It has produced many feet of crown. Baseboard, casing, picture frames and other moldings. I have made many curved casing moldings also. It is a very useful machine. Accessory blades can be purchased to use it to gang rip stock also. I am selling it to downsize my shop because of a move.
