Hitachi F1000A jointer/planer, EC, great working order, carbide blades
This is a heavy cast iron jointer/planer made by Hitachi. Considered a classic. It has a six inch jointer on the side, cast iron bed. The planer has a feeder, and takes 12 inch wide wood, It has fine adjustments, made by turning a wheel to crank up the bed. I am not happy to sell this, I looked for one for three years before I found this for sale on ebay. It works great. I have a spare belt for the jointer. A big plus is I spent over $400. to install carbide blades for both the planer and jointer. I have an extra set of HSS planer blades, and I think I have the spare set of HSS jointer blades. It comes with a small toolbox that contains a wrench, etc. It is heavy, so to move it I take off the jointer section, which is cast iron and heavy. It'll fit in any pickup, van, etc. The two ends of the planer can be removed. It is very stable and ... morevery useful. I am divorced and no longer have the room for it, have to liquidate all my woodworking tools, as you can see listed here. This is good enough for a small workshop, but was only used by hobbyists. This is a very nice used Ryobi JP155 Benchtop Jointer Planer. I've used this sparingly in my shop for about 2 years and it has served me well. This has ample power to handle even the largest pieces of wood. I was surprised at the ability of this small jointer to work through some very tough old barn wood I was working with. The variable speed feature is really nice for finding your feed rate. The unit has a two-blade cutter head and blades are readily available online. Although this has a couple good nicks in the blades. It still has plenty of surface area for jointing smaller pieces. No lack of power here! The feed deck has a pretty good gauge in it but this doesn't affect the feed in any way. This has a tilting, adjustable fence with cutter guard, also a vacuum port for dust collection. This is an 12" H.B. Smith jointer that came from a local mill in Baltimore. It came from a working environment. And includes an older western electric 5hp 3 phase motor. Condition: This machine is square head. It had some issues with knives apparently in the past and there are some places where they hit the tables. There is also some wear on the top of the tables themselves that may clean up fine. There is also a few small holes drilled into the table for a jig that was used for rabbiting and for bullnose. INCA 10 ¼” Jointer/Planer Model 510 This is a used INCA Jointer/Planer. It is Swiss made. It is powered with a 1 ½ HP Dayton motor(110 volt) The cutter head diameter is 2 7/16” and produces 12.000 cuts/ minute at 6,000 RPM giving a glass smooth surface on hard and soft wood. It is automatic feed with two speeds of 11 ½ feet/min and 16 ½ feet/min. With the infeed table in place and jointer fence attached it will joint wood up to 10” in width. In the planning mode with the infeed table removed it will plane wood 10 ¼” wide that is 6 ¼” thick and plane it down to 1/8” thick. The length of the table is 31 ½” and 10 ¼” wide. The length of the thicknessing(planning) table is 15 ¼” The machine itself weighs 87 lbs. With motor and wooden stand it weights about 162 lbs. It is a strong and well designed ... moremachine. It’s overall height is 35 ½” I have added a homemade roller base to the machine.
