This Speed Queen Ironette is a 1250 watt survivor of another age. This is how people got the wrinkles out of sheets. Tablecloths and other large linens before permanent press. The paint is peeling from the motor housing,part of the Valkyrie-like emblem has peeled away, but this old house keeping warhorse still breathes history. It still has its dust cover! The power cord looks good, but on close examination has fine cracks in the insulation, so I don't really know if it works or not.

Brand new old stock 7 ounce can of genuine Speed Queen fluid drive oil. This oil was u sed in the fluid drive that acted as the spin clutch in their terrific 3-belt solid-tub automatic washers. And this can was a complete fill for one of the drives. This is yet another one of those vintage items that's been sitting on my shelves for many years. And I'm doing some warehouse cleaning, working my way out of the parts business, so it has to go- and the price is right! In this sale you are receiving 2 front load Speed Queen commercial ADA compliant washing machines and 2 stacking electric Speed Queen dryers. I purchased these new in Nov 2009 for use in a 15 unit apt Complex. 3 family units and the rest were 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for disabled. Single and senior citizens and had a 4 year lease on the laundry room I purchased these in November of 2009 and removed them at the end of November 2013. New these cost $5000.00 I also did the maintenance on these apartments. Owners of the complex retired and sold out and the new owners installed their own units. So I lost my lease. The washers are set on $2.25 per wash and the dryers are set on 25 cents per 10 minutes. They can be reset to what ever you want. But this way you can do a load of laundry for $3.00 or less. Last summer I had to replace a control board ... morein one of the washers. That is the only problem I had with these machines Machines averaged $350.00 a month in revenue. The electric ran about $100.00 a month on the average. This included the hot water heater for the laundry room. The parking lot lights, the stair way lights, the heat for the office and laundry room and the lights for the office and laundry room. there was no a/c in the office or laundry room) So, on the average these were used about 116 times a month over 4 years.
