I was familiar with them as I use to be a maintenence man at a commercial ... morelaundry. I am marketing these as coolant. Cutting fluid, or lubrication pumps for machine tools, lapidary cutting and polish, and of course commercial chemicals. Each pump I have serviced, cleaned and oiled the motor bearing, washed and checked the pump body, tested for run. These kind of pumps will pump any fliud that the hose can withstand, just about anything except very thick fluids. The hose is silicon, 12mm, od, Each pump will come with a used hose and a section of new hose that I bought. Hose is readily availible on Ebay. While testing I checked the flow rate. It depends on the hose you are using, the old hose I tested had an ID of 4mm, it pumped 1 gallon in 48 min. My new hose has 6mm ID, it's rate was 1 gallon in 24 min. These pumps produce a pulsating flow, 1/4" plastic line can be secured to hose with small zip ties. They cannot have greater flows, but may be regulated down on the intake side. A nozzle on the line works well to smooth and direct the flow. These pumps will not create the flood needed for larger cutting or cooling operations. The motors are made by Dayton. They mount with the two screws on the side, and they operate on regular 110 volt current and about any light amp switch can be used. These are not constant run motors as they have no cooling, they get pretty hot after 15 min run time. Likely the best way to regulate flow is simply by turning on and off with a toggle or momentary switch. This is basically how they are designed to be used. Questions are welcome.
