VERY RARE New US Divers Co. Tank Boot 80 cu. Jacques Cousteau Letter From 1970
Up for sale is a brand new vintage U.S. Divers Co. black rubber tank boot and it is real rubber. Not plastic. Comes with original packaging which includes warranty booklet and a letter from Jaques Cousteau- which is stilled sealed! This is very hard to find, in fact I haven't seen one of these even for sale in this condition since they were made in the early 70's. What is also cool about this boot is it has the words" U.S. DIVERS CO. across the boot(See Photos) I only have two of these that we found boxed up in our store room. This auction is for one boot and all the packaging you see in the pictures. This is one of the first boots we know of that was made when the 80 aluminum tanks were produced. The aluminum tank is 9 1/8" long x 5 1/2" in diameter with 4 connector ports and 1 cap plug. Includes all of the 1/8" air lines and connectors. The compressor operating the cylinders, valves and aluminum tank was a Jun Air compressor model 3-1.5. It appears everything is in good working order.
