Antique Landers, Frary & Clark Bronze Molasses Faucet From Fort Magginis Montana
Here for your consideration is a terrific antique bronze molasses faucet from the short-lived" Fort Maginnis" in now Fergus County Mo ntana! The fort was built in 1880 at the end of the Indian Wars and abandoned in 1890 when it became obsol ete by military sta ndards. The fauc et was ma de by Landers. Frary And Clark in the mid-1860's and is sta mped on the handle. It m ea sures approximately 4" long x 1/2" at the widest point on the stem x 1-3/4" tall at the valve. With a 1/ 4" opening at the spout and slightly larger at the bung end. There are small dents on both side of the body from tapping to loosen when the barrel was empty and splitting at the bung end from use with hardwood kegs. Included is also the pull knob for the stopper. This knob has a crack down the center, but is not loose so I don't know if it goes all the way through. The valve hardware is included, but sold as is. the threads on one of the posts were damaged possibly in the removal from the old faucet. These are in two parts(the spigot shape of the faucet and the handle, which is held on by the typical screw in the middle, One of the screws does not match and I believe that it is not original.

I am selling a set of 4 Vintage faucet handles. Note-as you can see in the picture one of them is around 1 inch longer than the other 3-otherwise identical. They are all made of brass and and have white ceramic handles with red and pic roses ingrained in them. They each weigh around 4.5 ozs. and are 4-4.5 inches long. Total weight of 1.3 lbs. Antique Early 1900's Republic Nickel Plated Faucet Porcelain Escutcheon Plate
A super nice Republic faucet that was removed from a turn of the century Victorian coach house. This was hooked up to a watering trough that was used for horses. This fantastic faucet was still working when removed before a complete remodel. It stands off 5 3/4" from the base of the escutcheon to the handle. It is in pretty nice shape. There is a little spot of wear to the nickel as seen in the picture and some small stains in the porcelain that may come out with a good cleaning. This is in"as found" condition and with a little elbow grease this would glow. The neck pipe diameter is 1/2" I think this would make a killer back bar faucet with a temperature pre-set mixing valve and a copper or chrome neck. You don't see these anymore.

It is hard to measure but the widest points are approximately 20" x 17" It weighs about 7 pounds unpacked. The other piece may go to a kitchen or bathroom sink- again. I am not sure. It measures 9-1/2" x 6-1/2" at its widest points and weighs between three and four pounds. I would have to say it is also in pretty good condition for its age although it is missing the middle handle. It is is hard to figure out how to measure it properly, but the widest points I cam up with is 14" x 6" on just the black part. I can say they are magnetic and have a nice shine to them. There is still som e residue on them. I do think they would clean up more. They are not perfect, but in good condition. About 5 by 3 1/4.
