Up for auction is this RARE hard to find Vintage Schlitz Dark on Draught Keg Beer Advertising Light Up Sign from 1960. This sign is in good working order. Lights up. The sign measures approximately 15" in diameter and 4 3/8" off the wall. The inside of the sign does have a real Vintage Schlitz Beer Glass. There is some pitting on the brass ring which you can see in the pics. The wood sides have some lifting on the bottom left side. There is also a stain on the wood side on the upper left side. The brass ring on the face has markings that state Form- 240D 1960 Schlitz Brewing Company Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA Breweries at Milwaukee Wis. Brooklyn, NY Los Angeles, Calif. Schlitz On Draught Beer Barrel Lighted Sign 1960 - Must See
You are bidding on a 1960 Schlitz Beer advertising sign. This sign is very nice and says Schlitz On Draught and is a design on a beer barrel with a glass inside. It measures 15 inches across. I have taken a number of pictures so that you can see all angles of this. The condition of the sign is very good but I will do my best to explain any flaws. The side of the barrel is wood type panels and they are starting to flake off(see pictures) Inside. It appear that some plastic melted somewhere(though I can't tell were b/c everything looks good) and makes a type of plastic puddle around the top edge of the glass(it does not affect the glass and just on the backdrop) Also a slight stain in the lower corner and the On writing is slightly smudged.
