REALLY GREAT NICE BRASS ESTATE FIND- TWO BRASS BEER BAR CHICAGO BANNER TOWERS FAUCETS- Estate find- Two Vintage Brass Draft beer towers that originally were used in the bar of a Dog Race Track. I don't know much more about them. So I will do my best to describe them. I believe they are more than likely 100% Brass. They are not magnetic at all, and are very heavy. They are somewhat tarnished in some spots more than others. I did try a little Brass cleaner on the tops, that's why they are a little lighter on the top, and you will see some green residual cleaner left on them. I think they will need more Brass cleaner if you want them to truly shine them, however, I don't know how much it will effect them though, that will be your judgement call. On the inside of the other, there are 3 rubber tubes or hoses, and that is it, no two copper tubes or styrofoam. This is a standard draft beer keg tower that will accommodate 2 faucets. It can be mounted on top of a small refrigerator or right on your bar. I replaced it with a fancier one for my home bar. Up for sale is a used single faucet black draft beer tower. The tower is used and several years old. It looks sharp and has some scratching where the faucet sits. The cap for the tower is chrome and so is the ring that covers the base. The faucet and shank were recently purchased and used once. I've cleaned them with PBW. The faucet is stainless steel, the shank is brass-chrome plated, growler filler and faucet cover were all purchased from kegworks. When I look inside I see the two valves coming in but I do not see any line coming down the tower-just the two tapper nipples sticking out. The ceramic is in good condition with a some chips and some crazing. I believe the chips can be touched up with some paint. Clamp on type with two Abbot Ale Clips. Abbot Ale is brewed in Suffolk at Greene Kings's Westgate Brewery. Bury St. Edmonds, England. Brass and Porcelain hand pull, we believe the plinth is oak, with drip tray. Includes the swan neck with sparkler. Also includes the keg tap and hose. Tiger-Cats Football Draft Beer Tap and tower from Ivor Wynne Stadium
This is a draft handle and tower from the mid-1990's when Pabst Blue Ribbon sponsored the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Team of the Canadian Football League. This was a short lived partnership. The beer was brewed at the Hamilton Lakeport Brewery under license from Pabst. These draft handles were specially produced for this sponsorship and they were briefly used at the old Ivor Wynne Stadium. They proved to be drastically flawed in that they are very top heavy and under such high volume conditions that exist during a football game. They would tend to snap off. Therefore, these are extremely rare and this one is in mint condition. It has the same design on the front and back. It also comes with a draft tower that was used at Ivor Wynne Stadium for many. From the demolition auction of an old arena. We have here a 4-tap beer tower. It was made by"Perfection Equipment" and appears to be a thing they still make near as I can tell. I bought these already unintalled, and the tap levers all move good, so they're NOT all gummed up. It had a bunch of tubes sticking out when I got it, but I cut them all up into the pedestal for ease of shipping. You'll probably have to replace those all the way to the backs of the spigots. It's 15" tall, and 12" wide overall. Pedestal base flange is just under 5" diameter.
