A 19TH Century Masons Stone China Tureen Plate, Water Lily Pattern
A 19th Century Masons Stone China Two Handled Tureen Plate. Decorated in the Water Lily pattern, measuring 36cm to the outside of the handles X 24cm, to the back of the plate there is the Crown mark with printed mark'STONE CHINA and painted number 125 in red glaze, there is also a red painted circle with a line line through it. There is one hairline crack to the bottom right corner of the plate, please see photo, there is gilding to the handles, with hand painted and gilded Water Lily decoration. Moulded decoration to the edge of the plate. This plate is quite heavy, hence the slighty more expensive postage costs. Please feel free to ask any questions. Old Novelty Hard Wood Stone Masons Mallet Gavel Masonic Item?
For sale is a great item a small sized gavel in the shape of a masons mallet. It is superbly made of turned hard wood with a really comfortable handle and is a good size. It is in good condition with only one blemish on the main body. It is not a split or crack but not sure about it. I have tried to show it in the picture insert. It doesn't detract too much and it is still very usable. It is 18 cm tall by 9 cm across the base and the quality of the turning is quite high. This could have a Masonic background but can't say for sure. So a great vintage item that is ready to use or go into a collection. Good Luck Posted with

This prospector’s or miner’s hammer was manufactured by the Stiletto Tool Company. This company. Which is still in existence today, was established in 1849 and supplied pick hammers and similar tools used in the California Gold Rush days. The tool has some pitting from rust and plenty of dings from use, but is a unique bit of memorabilia from the past. Not sure if the handle is original. The main stone is red and the size is 12mm x 10.2 mm x 3.2 mm in size in a bar prong style setting. The band is 11 mm and tapers to 3 mm in size. This ring has some wear. I think it was sized at one time you can see where the split was when in sizing it. It does need to be polished up in and out. It has some scratches in some spots. The very bottom of the band where they sized it has a small nick in the gold. It can be fixed and polished up by your jeweler to bring it back to life. The band itself has some very ... morenice detail. Stone is very clean from and back. The gold emblem is still very vibrant and all there. The snap box is also in beautiful shape. Just some normal wear being as old as it is. It does snap shut nice and opens nicely. The outside of the box has a few ear spots in corners and on edges. Inside has beige velvet slot for ring. I got rid of some cement reside on this guy but there is a little there and here that refused to go quietly. The spike and the blade are dull from use but that could be fixed easily enough. Two masons hammers are up for sale in this lot I know one is a Bush or Bushing Hammer. This hammer with the handle weighs just over 6 pounds so I am guessing it's a 4 or 5 lb hammer The other hammer to me looks like a blacksmith drifting hammer but that's probably because I do some blacksmithing and not masonry.
