Late '80s Best power trowel, very little use, starts on first pull.
This was purchased to do the floors of a very small housing development. After a few floors. The crew decided to contract that service and the trowel has been in storage since. Before this add, I changed the oil and gas and it started on the first pull and ran well. It doesn't look like new but works very well. Item needs to be picked up by buyer or I can deliver within 100 miles of Concord, NH.

This unit could be refurbished or used as a parts unit. The engine runs great but needs a new coil. I took a coil off of the same engine and placed it on this one and it fired right up. It is missing two of the arms that hold the blades. And also has a problem with the tilt. If you just want the engine I will take $80 off of the price.

The knob at the handle that tightens the chain running down to the machine from the handle has a chunk missing. But turns and tightens and works fine anyway. I have never used one of these, so I don't know how they work for sure, so I didn't try to power it up. Please take a good look at the pictures to see what parts might be missing or needed. This unit come's with a Honda 5.5 hp engine. The engine starts very easily with one pull and also recently had a tune up. The engine had the carburetor replaced when I bought it. Deadman switch on handle operates correctly and shuts unit off in case of emergency. The gearbox is quiet with no noise. Very smooth operator! Trowel needs the 4 blades replaced, we used it with these blades and it worked fine, although they are worn.
