Super nice Paris Sno-Flake Push or Pull sled- take your toddler around the neighborhood in style! This vintage wooden sled has metal runners that have corroded but can be sanded and cleaned. Wood is in great condition. As is aluminum handle- I know, it looks like a lawn mower handle but it is original to the sled- it is too light-weight for a lawn mower. This listing is for a wood and metal Flexible Flyer model 2c snow sled with groomed runners. Model 2c was manufactured from1915-1919 by S. L. Allen and Co. The majority of the underside lettering is readable however the top side writing and eagle emblem are becoming difficult to read/see. It is in full working condition with no broken parts. Please look over pictures closely for cosmetic condition. The last two photos show the only two things to mention. The wood has a small crack on the left rear corner. And the right rail has been repaired with a little brazing. This is not a remake or remanufacture it is original and nearly 100 years old so wear is expected if not needed for correct patina. older plastic 2 man toboggan/ sled [ 1980's -90's] padded seats
Listing tonight is a very large very heavy duty snow toboggan that seats 2 and has padded seats. It is molded plastic with built in hand grips. There are a couple of cracks from use along the bottom edge from use but it is such a heavy duty design it does not effect the use. Please see pics to see. The sled still has lots of winter fun left in it. It measures 24 inches wide and 57 inches long and 10 inches off the ground. Great example of a Yankee Clipper. Flexible Flyer metal runner snow sled! Great condition overall. In my opinion! See all pics for yourself. Runners measure approx. 38" long. Body measures approx. 33" long(nose to end of wood seat) and approx. 13" wide. Power steering bar measures approx. 20 1/2" wide. Bottom of runners are'rusty' from use but the rest looks excellent for its age! The rope looks like it isn't original but it is a nice white poly- just has a couple small slash marks in it. Sled Auto Wheel Coaster 42"
Here's a vintage snow sled that appears to be made by the Auto Wheel Coaster company of North Tonawanda. New York. Most of the original paint is worn off, but you can see remnants of letters on the center slat, including the letters STER at the far right. That slat has a long crack from the end to just above where it's nailed into the upper cross beam. If you look carefully on the back, you can see some original lettering, but not enough to read any words or model information. The name of an owner, John, is scratched into the underside slats. I don't know when the metal sections were spray painted orange. It measures 42-1/2 inches in length and 22-1/2 inches at its widest point. This sled must be picked up from Bloomfield, CT.
