2007 Ford E250 Extended Cargo Van with Prochem Performer Carpet Cleaning Mount The Van: 2007 Ford E250 Extended Cargo. It has high miles(230.000) but still runs great. It was a courier van before I converted it to to a cleaning van, so a lot of those miles were on the freeway. It has the extended cargo area so 11 total feed of cargo. Great if you have water/fire/mold restoration stuff you need to put in along with the carpet cleaning gear. It will need new tires, brakes, and an oil change. A few other things that are optional at this point according to my mechanic are: a differential service, transmission service, and some new ball joints. Again, those are optional and can be done down the road. Transmission is smooth, and there is plenty of power to tow or go up hills because it's got the bigger E250 Engine in it. The AC works great ... morewhich is nice after the heat of the mount sets in. The Mount: Prochem Performer with 3400 Hours on it. VERY POWERFUL suction. Has places for 2 Vacuum hoses. Two pressure hoses, and has enough juice for both. The mount has an internal heat exchange which means you don't have to heat your water with propane or diesel. The water heats off the engine of the mount, and gets plenty hot! I do recommend getting some work done before operation. There is a leak along the fresh water line after the pump that will need to be either tightened or a seal replaced. It could use some new filters in the waste tank, and the on/off switch for the water pump needs to be looked at. A tune up might be a good idea because it hasn't had one in awhile. It's an older machine, but definitely has enough power to go around. My mechanic estimated $1500 to get everything up to snuff, and that is why I am setting the bid so low. Use the rest to go to fixes. 1994 Ford Carpet Cleaning Van Prochem Legend Truckmount
I would like to sell this item quickly so feel free to make an offer. I am advertising this item locally for sale and I reserve the right to cancel this auction. I purchased this van with the truckmount in it about 3 years ago. The van has 141.400 miles on it. I used it only occasionally. I drove the van less than 500 miles the entire time I've had it. The person I bought it from had just recently replaced the tires.When it is idling at a red light sometimes the rpms will drop low and the van will turn off. But then when you put it in park it cranks right back up. I took it to my mechanic and they could not get the van to replicate the issue and it does not trigger any error codes.I. The van has new shelves. Freshwater tank, freshwater pump and live reel installed in the fall of 2012. I used the machine only twice after the new equipment ... morewas installed. The machine was last used in December of 2012. A pipe burst on the unit(see picture) while I was on a job. I parked the van in my garage and it has been sitting there ever since. The machine cranks right up. I have pulled it out about twice. I did have a new battery installed since then. The truckmount is gas powered and is fueled from the van's gas tank. The truckmount is also powered by the van battery(which is a deep marine battery) I never looked in to repairing the pipe. I believe it would be an easy fix if you are mechanically inclined or you are in this business and have a trusted truckmount mechanic. Carpet cleaning was never my main line of work, and after the pipe broke I just lost interest. The van has been garaged for nearly 18 months. I thought I might eventually try to get back into it, but I did not. Despite this fact, I have maintained insurance and vehicle registration. The time has come, my wife is calling for it to be sold. If you are wanting to make the transition to a truckmount but don’t want to spend $10-$20.000 to do it or if you have been wanting to build your own truckmount with your own components I have what you need and will save you lots. Gardner Denver Blower - TI408 - #4 Blower - Prochem Blower
READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! This Blower was removed from a Prochem Apex GTX D(carpet cleaning truckmount unit) though this blower can/could be used in other applications. And on other machines) that had under 400 hours of use on it. The blower belts on the unit needed replaced- I took it to a truckmount repair shop to have the belts changed because I didn't have the time to do it myself. They didn't tighten the blower down properly. And the pulley on the blower slipped on the blower input shaft for a minute or two and slightly damaged it. THIS CAN BE REPAIRED. It can be milled slightly to facilitate a smaller diameter pulley shaft. However- The right way is to have that input shaft re-milled. A simple process where they weld a stronger material onto it. And then turn it back down to factory specs. I have been told it costs anywhere ... morefrom $200-400 to have done. I didn't go that route because it would have voided my extractors warranty. And secondly, I needed a very fast fix which was to simply order a new blower and have it back up and running in 2 days. This blower lists out at right around $3000- it has right about 400 hours on it. Which is pretty much nothing for a blower of this caliper. I'm asking $500 plus shipping for the blower as is. You can end up with a next to new blower for well under $1000 when all is said and done and you have had it repaired. I was going to build a flood sucker unit only- which is why I have kept it- but those plans are scrapped as I have decided to downsize my business recently. The item is listed locally. You can pick it up, or I will prep and palletize to ship at no cost- however shipping costs themselves are not included in this auction selling price. Everything is in good working order and it starts right up heats up water to 300 degrees and vacuum works great. Comes with everything you need to start cleaning carpet tile upholstery rugs stairs and more. It also includes all the attachments you need like 200 ft solution hose 200 ft vacuum hose and reel. It has a 75 gal fresh water tank and pump, 75 gal disposal tank( pump out does not work) so you have to stop the machine to drain dirty water(no big deal) its just a convenience item.
