This is a rare drum. The Tama Superstar sets did not come with this drum unless ordered in addition to the 18 inch floor tom. This is a great addition to a set. Deep tones and beautiful as well. Its serial number is 82 26065. YOu can look it up and see for yourself that this is an early 1980's super maple finish 20 by 18 floor tom. With little to no damage.

Tama Superstar 18" floor tom drum, vintage 80's, Cherry Wine finish, Birch
Here is a super nice Tama Superstar 16" x 18" diameter floor tom. This drum is all birch and finished in the beautiful Cherry Wine lacquer. I believe it dates to the mid 80's and it has serial#14506141. The interior is also finished in red and looks new. The chrome is clean and has no major scratches and no pitting. The cherry wine finish is shiny and vibrant and has only a couple insignificant scratches. Bearing edges are also excellent. Truly a nice drum that would be a great addition to your vintage collectible Tama Superstar drum kit! Offered with no hidden reserve. The only disclaimers to report(see pictures) There is one small dent in the batter side bearing edge. There are a few scuffs to the exterior, including a scrape into the lacquer. As is common with Tamas from this era, the badge is a little loose, not fixed in place and the corners are starting to bend up. One of the three wing-nuts on the leg brackets is a non-original replacement. Also there are some spots of discoloration underneath the lacquer. Tama Imperialstar 18" floor tom drum, vintage 70's, Platina finish
Here is an 18" Tama Imperialstar floor tom that dates to the mid 70's. This one measures 16" deep by 18" diameter and is finished in"Platina" wrap. Which looks like brushed metal. Overall, it is in great shape. The wrap does have some minor scratches and wear, but still looks quite good for a 40 year old drum. Chrome is also fairly nice, with no rust or damage to the hoops. Lugs and legs mounts need a good cleaning and have a few dimples(very minor) but should clean up and shine quite nicely. Granitone interior and bearing edges are in great shape. The shell has rerings. The only noticeable issues are the muffler, which has been removed and the screw on feet are missing from the legs. I have installed standard rubber tips to replace the missing feet. Generally speaking, I would say this one is in better than average ... morecondition and would be a great addition to your vintage Imperialstar drum kit. Missing one small piece of wrap near edge of drum. Approximately 1/2" x 3/4" in size. Missing its muffler. Hoops and tension rods are not original. Black and silver badge is slightly loose. Missing legs and thumb screw for one leg mount. Slight separation of a portion of top reinforcement ring. Drum Workshop 11X14 hanging floor tom Black diamond finish with case
This drum is in excellent to mint condition and comes with a Humes and Berg padded Enduro case. Black Diamond finish is almost flawless. No pitting on the chrome hardware. Remo Pinstripe head on top and Remo clear ambassador on the resonant side are like new. The foam lining in the case has a couple of minor flaws but is still intact and not a problem. The drum has been previously used and shows some light cosmetic wear. The high gloss finish has some scuff marks throughout. A majority of the scuff marks are on the lighter side.
