One other thing I will point out is the two plastic screws holding the case halves together were broken. I was able to replace the screws with two white nylon ones. I had to bore one of the screws out and drilled through the front cover just below the letter“E” of AMPROBE. There is no risk of contamination since the replacement screw fill/seals the hole.
