P lease note that I only went through some basic testing to see that the unit was producing sound through Input. And the volume knobs responding accordingly. Four of the 50CA10 tubes appear to have NEC logo printed as shown. Cosmetically the unit is in very nice condition for its age as you can see. There are some minor wear and marks here and there. This is a great power amp. It worked very well with my pod hd500 but I don't have it anymore so I don't really use it anymore. 7868 Power & 2 stereo output transformers Rowe TI-1 jukebox vintage tube amp
Power transformer and two matching Output transformers from a TI-1 stereo 7868 Rowe Jukebox amp. Stereo amp had 4 7868 tubes. Two 12AX7's, and a 5U4 rectifier(also had a separate preamplifier unit) You also get the original jukebox service manual so you can identify everything, see how it was wired on the original amp(schematics and drawings of the actual amp) The manual is falling apart, but it has a lot of helpful info. Pulled from a non-working jukebox. We rebuilt a juke and had two amplifiers, so we used the amp these came out of for parts. Had no visible damage or soot. Only a tiny hint of rust. We checked the caps first, used a variac to limit the total voltage, and had a speaker load connected when we tested the amp these came from, so the chance of us having damaged them in any way is very slim. It's been a couple of years, ... moreso I don't remember much else, just the scribbled notes I had. I never keep known bad parts, so I'm pretty sure that the power transformer functioned correctly, but it is sold as-is untested. My notes say the power transformer taps include heaters in the high 7v range, rectifier supply about 6v, and 888 v from the mains, powered by a 120v supply. Those numbers match up what you would expect to get from this PT running 120v that was built in the 110 v era. Not sure from my notes if those are tested voltages from this PT or from my identical working amp, but I had carefully taped those to this PT. The jukebox amplifier that we completed sounds great, so this model of transformers has great potential. PT is model 05956. OT's are identical, model 05955. This is an as-is auction. I have a vintage Peavey Mace Power Pak tube amp 160 watts RMS. series 320T 4 ohms that I picked up at a hi-end estate sale. serial number 7A-117292. head only. 50lbs before packing. works great. I powered it up and the power light came on and the 6 tubes lit up. I am not a musician so this is the extent of my testing. I think they were built around 1976. Skynyrd and Hatchett bands both loved these amps. But i think it'll work for any kind of music. The amp uses six 6L6GC tubes. Currently populated with all 6 like new tubes. This auction is for a Mesa SimulClass 295 stereo vacuum tube power amplifier that is in very good cosmetic condition. And in excellent electronic condition. This 295 has been meticulously maintained and professionally modified to include a bias potentiometer for every pair of tubes, so when running the amp in SimulClass you can bias the EL34 and 6L6 tubes separately. This means there are a total of 4 bias pots, one for each pair on side A and B. This allows you to optimize the bias for each pair, squeezing out that last little bit of tone that crosses the line from sounding amazing to pure magic. It is currently running in simulclass with EL34 and 6L6s, with low hours on the power tubes. This amp was hand-built to last in California. BOUTIQUE VINTAGE WRECK STYLE TUBE AMP 6V6/ EL34 Power Train Hand Made Point to Point Wired It's a hand made amp housed in what was formerly a Craftsman toolbox. It's design was derived from the famous Wreck Amps. It currently has one vintage Sylvania 12AU7 and two vintage Sylvania 12AX7's in the pre-amp stages. There are two matched Electro Harmonix Groove Tubes GT-6V6-R(6V6GT's) in the power output stage. There is one vintage Sylvania 5Y3 in the rectifier stage. On the 12AX7 pre-amp tubes some of the lettering has rubbed off. Especially the number three position 12AX7, you can just barely see a trace of the Sylvania lime green lettering. That being said, the pre-amp tubes and the rectifier are genuine vintage Sylvania's. All tubes, pre-amp, power and rectifier, test strong on my Eico 667 tester. The amplifier can be voiced ... moreaccording to the amount of gain desired by exchanging the pre-amp tubes for higher or lower mu values. Originally. The amp came to me with all 12AX7's, very high gain configuration. You can try 12AX7, 12AT7 or 12AU7 in any of the three positions. These would be high, medium high and medium gain respectively. I went with the 12AU7 first, then two 12AX7's. This provided good head room and break up at a small venue level. The buyer can configure the amp as desired. I was also told this amp could accept 6V6's or EL34's in the power stage. I tried it momentarily with EL34's and it worked fine. But I didn't want to leave them in without having the amp re-biased for them. So, it is currently running and has been biased for the 6V6GT's. The wiring is hand done. Meticulous, vintage point to point style. Looks very military spec. to me, amazing care to detail. Obviously the person who built this amplifier, knew what they were doing. Transformer's manufacturer is unknown. They are obviously vintage transformers spec'd out and chosen by the builder. Year of manufacture is unknown. Minimum emission and DMC is 70 and max is 130. This tube passed all tests. I also let the tubes warm up for 5 minutes to get an accurate reading. Tube amp transformers output transformer choke power trasformer
For sale are are a set of 3 transformers I originally intended to use for a project. The power transformer is an american made Magnavox transformer from the 40's(c-300052 A O 26) I pulled this from an old radio/ phono. It is in very good condition for its age. the only issue is the brown wire taps cloth covering is separating nothing major. The shortest lead is about 5 inches which is is one high voltage and one high voltage center tap. The output transformer and choke are brand new with long leads and are american made heavy duty replacements for 50 watt Marshall amps. Feel free to ask any questions. This Bellari pure class a headphone amp(HA540) is top of the line. I've only had it for about a year. But I just dont seem to use it that much. Perfect condition. The only thing diffrent from a brand new one is that I lost the two black screws that protect the tube because I took it off as soon as I got the amp and couldnt find them recently. I just put in two regular screws and it stays in place fine if you want to leave it in. But if you want to see the glow of the tube, I recomend just taking it off like I did. These go for $299 new. Lambda C-281 tube power supply for tube amp
For sale is a Lambda C-281 high voltage tube power supply. This supply provides from 125vdc to 325vdc as well as 6.5vac at 10A. The DC output is adjustable by means of a potentiometer on the back. The tube complement is as follows: 2 x 5U4G. 6 x 6W6GT, 2 x 12AX7 and 1 x 5651. This supply powers up and functions but has a peculiar fault. It seems to provide too much DC voltage. For example, on the 125vdc-175vdc setting I measured ~350vdc and on the 175vdc-225vdc setting I measured ~400vdc. I am not sure why this is the case. I believe it to be a circuit level fault as I replaced all of the tubes with no change. I am looking to make some space and so I do not have time to diagnose this further. Fryette/VHT 2/90/02 Two Channel Tube power amp
I am listing a fully functioning and completely maintained Fryette/VHT 2902. 2 channel 90 watts a side power amp. This amp was used by me primarily at the practice studio. I bought this a year ago or less off Ebay and it was serviced before I bought it and then serviced again by my tech to ensure all is working correctly. Properly biased and new power tubes put in a year ago or less. 6550 into channel A and KT88s into channel B. Preamp tubes are good no microphonic issues or lack of clarity. Very powerful and depencdable, this amp is the best power you can buy hands down. Use it with your Rocktron Piranha, Mesa Triaxis, Bogner Fish, CAE preamp, AXE FX, 11Rack, you name it. It can do it. Power cabs in stereo or FRFR for great use of effects. It has some cosmetic issues but nothing functionally is wrong and in optimal running condition. The ... morerear left corner top lid has a small chip out. In picture. It has scratches and normal wear. The mounting ears are angled slightly so it sits out tad. I guess a preference from previous owner. Worked fine in my gator rack setup. I'd rather not sell it but I have a lot of gear and always trying different stuff. But have the manufacturing done in China under careful supervision, to bring the cost of owning a real high-end product back down to earth. This amp is rated at 35 Watts per channel. But sounds like much more. Each channel’s output stage contains two EL34 PrimaLuna tubes. It can also accept KT88. 6550, KT90, 6L6GC, KT66, 7591, OR EL37 tubes. Part of the reason for its dynamic sound is the design of the output transformer. Which allows to amp to deliver full power into EITHER 4-Ohm or 8-Ohm speakers. This amp is warm and smooth. Like other great tube amps, with immense midrange detail and deep sound-staging. On the other hand. Vox Tonelab ST tube power amp distortion in a box with multieffect amp simulator
ST model. Boxed, as good as new, bought as backup, no longer needed, save £ 35- 40 over a new one in this model. The VR control is already incorporated in the gain control. It is a model really compact with less knobs than the EX, but gives same results, i.e. real tube power amp distortion and amp models lots of people don't understand what the Tonelab really is. It's not a multieffect with a tube to get some preamp distortion. Like Zoom. It is the ONLY amp'simulator' who does it by using real tube distortion, specifically POWER tube amp distortion. While other toys from Line 6 etc SIMULATE tube distortion, the Tonelab does NOT simulate tube distortion, since it uses the real thing( it has a mini power tube amp complete with a'virtual' output transformer. IT SOUNDS like it, I know how power tube distortion sounds ... moreand what type of circuit is needed to get it, and the Tonelab does it from A to Z, i have always been impressed by that) So. It does NOT simulate tube distortion as the Pod Line 6 toys do. The Tonelab already has tube distortion in, but it goes WAY further as it provides POWER tube amp distortion and the only thing that simulates are different AMPS models. Big difference, if you ask me. This gadget is miles ahead of anything else, hardware or software. Throw in a few faithful reproductions of pedals like the Tubescreamer, plus some reverbs, and you have a dream machine. Ridiculously underrated in favour of Line 6 toys. I have tried them all and not once I thought they could touch the Tonelab. I have used tube amps for many years and I absolutely love this really useful gadget. It's really the best you can get for D.I. and it sounds really good even with my active computer speakers. Shimmering tube clean tones and roaring power tube distortion. Believe it or not it has more dynamics than my tube amps. That's because tube amps can't be cranked up easily, which the Tonelab does without the zillion watts needed. It also blows all the Amplitube etc software out of the
