Tektronics TLS 216 Logic Scope
For sale is a Tektronics TLS 216 logic scope. The item is in great cosmetic condition. All of the buttons work and the screen is in great shape. The scope does boot up and comes up with a Fail Calibration Error during the self check on boot up. I was able to cancel past and the unit did show signals and seemed fine. Keep in mind the calibration error if you need a unit that does not have that error. Without any probes I cannot verify accuracy. I was told that it could be due to not having a probe calibrated on the unit but I do not have any probes to test with. Outside of that the top case in great shape. thanks.

TEKTRONICS MODEL 453 DUAL CHANNEL OSCILLOSCOPE WITH PROBES AND COVER
The Tektronix 453 is a portable 50MHz dual-trace oscilloscope and produced until the mid-1970's. Initial versions had Nuvistor tubes in the front end as cathode-follower voltage buffers. Later versions used FETs for the same purpose. The vertical amplifier that drives the CRT deflection plates is a cascoded differential amplifier made of NPN transistors. Triggering uses. With a trigger preamplifier preceding the actual trigger circuit. The 453 is almost entirely solid-state, even in its first version. The only tubes other than the CRT are the HV rectifiers and a few Nuvistor triode tubes. Each horizontal deflection plate is driven by a common-emitter amplifier with feedback. The total CRT acceleration is 10kV. The CRT cathode voltage is-2kV and the CRT anode voltage is +8kV.
