The difference between the 54810A and 54815A is the ability of the scope to sample at 2GSa/s instead of the factory limited 1GSa/s. The pictures show a 54815A that has been unlocked to perform identical in every way to the 54825A. In the first two pictures you can see the scope waveform of a 500MHz sine wave sampling at 1GSs/s. Looks pretty bad. Doesn't it? In the third. You can the the scope after it has been unlocked with the same 500MHz signal. I had to decrease the amplitude to get the full waveform on the display.
