But manufactures only automotive test equipment. This auction is for a Hickok model 680 crystal controlled RF marker calibrator with magic eye. Serial number 73-10661. This instrument is usually used to provide highly accurate"markers" and calibration when aligning analog television sets and high frequency radios. The manual includes full instructions for using the 680, a schematic diagram, and a parts list. The 680 has sockets for up to 3 switch-selectable crystals(see 3rd photo) This listing includes the standard 2.5MHz crystal. For auction is a Heathkit IG-4505 Oscilloscope Calibrator. Allows calibration of voltage and frequency of scopes. Powers up and tested the voltage output with a cheap RS DMM. All of the settings on the voltage terminals showed a little above the half of the indicated value. As the ranges are peak-to-peak and the DMM is RMS(more or less) that seems appropriate and also matches the results of testing a second unit I have. The frequency BNC cable also shows low-level signals. My scope is packed up somewhere so I can't say what the wave form looks like. My guess is OK but I am selling as-is like all vintage electronics. I'm talking about the foam in the carry case, it is in terrible condition and the glue or adhesive is breaking down creating a sticky mess. The tools are kept in plastic, so plan on purchasing a new carry case. All that aside. The instrument seems to operate as it is designed. I tested the unit extensively as I know how. This Quest Electronics Model 215 Sound Level Meter and CA12-B Calibrator is in good condition. They come in their original hard case with their original instruction manuals. The Calibrator produce high pitch sound. And the 215 sound level meter indicates the sound level when it is connected to the calibrator. The meter is in good shape except the plating at the tip has a rust/ oxidation spot the size of a nickel(see picture 10) The case it comes in is also in very good condition.
