Made by South Bend Engine Lathes In South Bend Indiana USA. The turning tool holders are made in the USA. The top one is Western Tool& Mfg co Springfield ohio-it is@ 7" long-pitted and a bit rusty and worn and has a large chip out of the bottom The second one is an Armstrong No. 1-9 heavily pitted. The third is stamped PA again worn. Pitted etc.priced accordingly. The previous owner told me it was from 1937 but I don't have verification of that. Local pick-up available. To help determine that this tool post will fit your lathe, here are the basic dimensions. The tool post body measures 0.970" diameter, and the T Nut measures 1-3/8" x 1-3/8" x 5/16" All of the items shown in the picture are included. This is a lot of(2) lathe tool bit holders. One of them is an Armstrong#1L. The other is a Tokyo Suzuki. Both are in decent very useable condition. The Suzuki has a shank that is about.520 wide and takes a 5/16" tool bit. The Armstrong is about.487 wide and takes a 5/16" tool bit. Both are left hand. The Armstrong has a previous owner's engravings on it. The Suzuki does not.

Accepts up to 1/2" tools, 100% CNC machined from A-2 Tool steel, not heat treated, just heated to color. 1 1/2" tall 2) Size 150 turn face holders. Accepts up to 5/8" tools, 100% CNC machined from A-2 Tool steel, not heat treated, just heated to color. 1 7/8" tall 1) Size 100 boring bar holder. Accepts 1" dia. round bars, 100% CNC machined from A-2 Tool steel, not heat treated, just heated to color. 1 3/4" tall 1) KDK Size 100-102 turn face holder. Accepts up to 1/2" tools. 1 1/2" tall 1) 100 size parting tool holder. Uses P3 size tools. 1 1/2" tall My personal tools and engraved with my name. Rocker Tool Post & Holders, Drill Chuck, assorted Tools for 9" - 10" South Bend
A friend of mine has a machine shop at his home. Which includes the tools and machines that generally comprise a home machine shop. Although there are an assortment of brand names, he was partial to South Bend Lathes and accessories. He has now decided to reduce the size of his shop and to sell off the extra parts and accessories he has collected over the years and no longer uses. As the pieces are inventoried and released for disposition I will list them and describe them as accurately as I am able. Sale is final so please ask any questions that you might have. Thank You Offered here is an assortment of tools that were intended for use on a 10" 10-K) South bend Lathe. These should be suitable for use on the 9" Model as well. The Tool Post Body measures 0.970" and the T Nut is 1-1/2 x 1-3/8 x 1/4. The rocker is missing and ... morewill need to be replaced. The tool holders look ok. But note that the shank of the knurling tool was cut down to fit a small quick change tool holder. Everything shown in the picture is include, being sold as is for parts or repair. Please note: I will not be available to ship between March 7th and March 15th. Any items sold before the 7th should be able to ship. Otherwise shipping will not resume until the 15th of March.
