Large Lot of 10 Different Machinist Boring Bar Tools I purchased a couple of machinist boxes from an estate sale. I'm not a machinist so please ask any questions you may have. These boring bars are all different sizes and lengths. Many have tool bits in the holders. This is almost 10 lbs of tools. I just noticed the photos and the bars look curved on some. that is just because of the camera lens. They are straight. I would be happy to combine shipping on any of my auction items. Very nice and in excellent condition with several inserts. Notice the 3 different size inserts shown. There are other inserts that fit these bars and that makes them very versatile. Add the versatility to the length of 10" and stoutness of 3/4" diameter and herein is a sweet tool. Knowing a bit about inserts I think we are looking at a hundred plus dollars worth, 17 pieces(almost two boxes at around 60 to 80 bucks a box) the bars are well over a hundred bucks and closer to two hundred each. $150.00 for this package is a great deal and a lot of bang for the buck. 3 Insert Boring Bars Kennametal & Ceratip 06-KTLPR-2 and Ceratip SI-STUNR 10-2
Two Kennametal 3/8 boring bars by 6 inch long and 1 Ceratip 5/8 boring bar by 7 inch long. All are in good used condition. The 3/8 Kennametal bars both have insert clamps. one is missing the clamp screw. The 5/8 Ceratip bar is missing the insert screw. They all show some wear but the inserts appear to seat well.
