One of the best. Kaeser BS50 rotary screw air compressor. 40 HP. Air cooled cabinet enclosed. Rated for 195 cfm@ 110 psi. Straight 480 volt three phase, no 230 volt. 54 amps at 480 volt. This is a VERY nice compressor in VERY nice shape- I didn't clean it up at all. It came from a major manufacturing company and was one of four similiar units ran through a sequencer. The hour meter shows 12002 operating hours, however it was replaced at 40426 hours, which means it has about 52000 hours run time. The old meter is in the cabinet. It has 32178 load hours. This is noting, these are designed for 100000 hours before rebuild. The previous owners were serious about maintenance. This compressor has new heat exchangers. New pressure switches, a new inlet actuator, new inlet air hose, and new lift arms for the top. There are NO oil leaks. ALL filters ... morewere changed before taken out of service. Up for your consideration is a what I am going to call used. I am pretty sure it is new as it just has a lot of shelf wear on it) is a Kaeser AMD 6550 automatic condensate drain valve. This is a very high end valve that wastes no compressed air to remove condensate from your compressor, dryer, tank, drip leg or filter. It has a 1/2" NPT inlet and 1/2NPT outlet. I will mark the appropriated ports so you will know how to hook it up. Kaeser SM11 10HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor 230/460V 3 Phase - See Video!
For sale is a 1987 Kaeser SM 11. The compressor isn't perfect cosmetically. But that is expected from an older unit. It runs well and produces 42 cfm at 110 psi. It only has 30050 hours so it still has plenty of life left in it. It is currently wired for 460V, but can easily be switched to 230V. I can switch the wiring for the buyer. The oil looks clean, but I'm not sure when it was changed last. I would recommend changing the oil and filters within the next 1000 operating hours or so. The compressor is missing the panel for the electrical connections. A cover could easily be made if the buyer desires. The green indicator light doesn't appear to work. This doesn't affect performance and I'm sure the light could be fixed/replaced inexpensively. Please see the pictures and video to determine the condition for yourself. For sale is a Kaeser duplex aircenter made in 1997: 2 Kaeser SM11 compressors and a KRD075 refrigerated air dryer mounted on a tank. The compressors are 208V 3 phase. The dryer and control box are 110V single phase. The compressors have 34888 hours and 38741 hours. This system was bought brand new in 1997 and has been owned by the same person since. It has been serviced regularly. I have the records available. The oil and filters were just changed a few hours ago. I have some extra oil and filters I can include. Wired for 460 volts. 3 phase. Can be switched to 230 volt. Unit was pulled from a shop that recently downsized. Item was in use up until removal and was stored indoors since new. They were purchased new by a large manufacturing company that maintained it regularly though they rarely used it. You will not find a nicer used compressor.
