Ingersoll Rand DXR800 Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer For sale- an Ingersoll Rand DXR800 Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer. Physically it is in decent shape as best I can tell. But was sold to me with the note that the manifold has holes in it. I’m not in the AC business so I don’t know the terminology. But I am guessing if the cooling manifold has holes in it the refrigerant(R22 in this case) leaks out. So it is being sold for parts or repair only. The unit was manufactured in 12/99. Serial number 99MDXR7008. I was thinking that I could get my brother in law. A commercial refrigeration guy, to refurbish it, but noting now that it requires 400 volts, 3 phase AC which I don’t have access to, I don’t think he could fix it without it being powered up at some point. So I am selling it as is. And again as is means it probably doesn’t work. It ... morewas palletized on its side as you see in the pictures when I went to pick it up. Not ideal but I wasn’t in a position to do anything about it at the time. I will at least try to stand it up once I take it out to the warehouse and have access to a forklift. If there is an hour meter on the thing anywhere it is on the side facing down. So for the moment I can’t tell you what the hours on it are. I was only able to find one reference of any value to it online. Somebody has one here. Presumably working, for $2650. They show the weight as 1300 pounds but having opened it up just to take a look I can’t see it weighing nearly that much. I may change my mind when I try to stand it up. But for now we will use that as a shipping weight. It trailered awfully well to be that heavy though. While I still have it on the trailer I could potentially deliver it myself up and down the east coast. But that isn’t part of the price, and you would have to have a way to get it off the trailer and stand it up yourself. When I opened it up I also opened up the electrical box on the thing. Quincy model QDTH 150 cfm heatless desiccant compressed air dryer. Manufactured for Quincy by Pneumatec. Will dry to-40 Deg. F at 150 CFM flow. Which would be the full output of a 40 HP compressor. This dryer was taken out of service on a medical air system in a hospital because it was too big for the air load. A smaller dryer was installed in its place. Dryer was manufactured in 2006 and has ASME labeled tanks. Purch system was modified by the hospital to allow for manual adjustment of purge flow. this in no way affects the proper operation of the dryer. 150 PSU maximum pressure. 115 Volt operation current. Inlet and outlet ports are 1 1/2" NPT. I installed one new flow valve, as the existing one didn't seem to be opening properly. Dryer was tested through several cycles.
