It is hard to tell if it was ever actually placed in service. Due to the lack of scratches or wear marks on the housing and glass or any contamination on the pipe threads. Other than a minor ding in the lid and some light tarnish on the back of the housing, this is in like-new condition for an instrument that is so old. The bezel and dial glass unscrew to reveal that the glass is about ¼” thick with a ground bevel edge. Tested and working well. I don’t know how long it’s been since it was professionally calibrated. This gauge is used a Magnehelic commonly used in HVAC industry. Reads 0-3.0 of" water column across the high-low side. The gauge was taken out of a working system that was recently decommissioned. It is clean and works great. It is designed to be installed in vertical position. There is a zero calibration screw to easily zero out the gauge. there are(3) mounting tabs on the side for attaching to a backer board or sheet metal panel. The inlet ports have 1/4" copper compression fittings and can be changed to new fittings for your application. These gauges are made in USA of cast metal body and are very durable.
