An oldy but a goody and a great deal. This is a Johnson Controls model A421 regerated air dryer. This was made by Arrow for Johnson for climate control operation. Included is a panel with filters. A regulator and a by-pass valve. This dryer is older, and has R12 refrigerant, but has had a VERY easy life. It was part of a climate control system in a bank, and worked very little. 115 volt. It has been serviced twice a year or as needed since new. It was in great operating condition when I disconnected it last week. The owners have downsized and replaced it with a 30 HP compressor) The oil and filters were changed in 08/12, and we replaced the oil filter and air filters last month. We are also including an Ingersoll Rand model TS500 refrigerated air dryer, s/n DR10011905-111401. 460 volt three phase. This is a Newgate Technologies Refrigerated Air Dryer. It is in good used condition and is fully functioning. This air dryer contains both pre and cold filters internal to the unit. Both filters are included and in working order. And the light indicating the filters need to be changed is not on(implying the filters are still good) I was not familiar with this brand of air dryer, but the build quality appears to be quite good. They appear to have used high quality components(such as Danfoss) I tested everything on the dryer, including the"drain test" and everything functioned properly. The compressor runs smoothly and quietly, and the heat exchanger looks good. were quite helpful with answering questions. I do not know for sure the age of the dryer. Ingersoll Rand DXR800 Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer For sale- an Ingersoll Rand DXR800 Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer. Physically it is in decent shape as best I can tell. But was sold to me with the note that the manifold has holes in it. I’m not in the AC business so I don’t know the terminology. But I am guessing if the cooling manifold has holes in it the refrigerant(R22 in this case) leaks out. So it is being sold for parts or repair only. The unit was manufactured in 12/99. Serial number 99MDXR7008. I was thinking that I could get my brother in law. A commercial refrigeration guy, to refurbish it, but noting now that it requires 400 volts, 3 phase AC which I don’t have access to, I don’t think he could fix it without it being powered up at some point. So I am selling it as is. And again as is means it probably doesn’t work. It ... morewas palletized on its side as you see in the pictures when I went to pick it up. Not ideal but I wasn’t in a position to do anything about it at the time. I will at least try to stand it up once I take it out to the warehouse and have access to a forklift. If there is an hour meter on the thing anywhere it is on the side facing down. So for the moment I can’t tell you what the hours on it are. I was only able to find one reference of any value to it online. Somebody has one here. Presumably working, for $2650. They show the weight as 1300 pounds but having opened it up just to take a look I can’t see it weighing nearly that much. I may change my mind when I try to stand it up. But for now we will use that as a shipping weight. It trailered awfully well to be that heavy though. While I still have it on the trailer I could potentially deliver it myself up and down the east coast. But that isn’t part of the price, and you would have to have a way to get it off the trailer and stand it up yourself. When I opened it up I also opened up the electrical box on the thing.
