The tank capacity is not indicated but by the measurements it should be about a 75 gallon tank. The only thing I have done to it is to drain some water from the tank. The oil level in the head is up to the full mark as shown in the picture of the indicator- this is how it was when I acquired it and I have not added any oil. 40 gallon air compressor 220V Dayton Speedaire Vintage
Dayton 40 Gallon Speedaire Compressor. It still works. However I have noticed these 2 issues. The pressure release valve has a slow leak that you can hear, but the pressure stayed the same for over 20 minutes, and the On/Off switch is non-existence. It starts the moment you plug it in. The release valve could be fixed with a little time and the right seal. An On/Off switch could be added to the power line or the plug you use. I don't have the time or know how, so the price is low.

Up for your consideration is a very nice. Very good working SpeedAire 10CFM refrigerated air dryer. It operates on 110 volt and has a power cord about six feet long. The inlet and outlet are 1/2" NPT and the automatic drain takes a 3/8" hose. It measures about 16" square. The dryer weighs 55 pounds. I can demonstrate that it does in fact work. It is available for pick up in Montrose Michigan, 48457. That is about an hour north of Detroit. If you want me to ship it, I will need some extra time to find a sturdy box to pack it up in. So if you are in a hurry and want it shipped next day, please hit the back button. I would need a couple of days to do so. Any questions please ask. This compressor WILL compress air and work fine! It is 28 pounds in total weight. The flywheel is not included.
