Up for sale is a Quincy QRDS-15 Air Compressor. I purchased this compressor to power our paint booth and it is to long to fit in our compressor room. So I had to get a vertical tank rig. I Have no idea on the condition of the compressor and I bought it from a state agency that claimed it to be operational. I am selling it as is with no warranty with minor repairs needed. We started to take the compressor and motor off and mount it on the tank vertical and decided to buy a different compressor instead. As the picture indicates the 3 filter cans are removed but I may have them. Keep in mind I am not guaranteeing this unit to run because I never ran it. I can only go off the previous sellers promise. Mounted on a 80 gallon tank. Wired for 460 volts, 3 phase. Motor shows it will work on 230/460(see picture) Unit was pulled from a shop that recently downsized. In very good working condition and ready to be put back into service. Very quiet operation- unit comes with two spare drive belts. One owner compressor, bought new and maintained regularly. Up for sale is a used ingersoll rand thermostar refrigerated air dryer. Model TS250. Built in Jan 2001. Rated for 250 scfm. Unit was pulled from a shop that recently downsized. It powers on but comes up with the SE alarm as the picture shows. This is the high temp alarm. I believe the sensor is bad. If you press in the contactor, the compressor turns on and the temp gauge lowers. It has freeon in it. It was working but then it was removed and relocated- then the error came on when reinstalled. Being sold as is but I believe it is an easy repair for someone familiar with these units. Can be seen under power at my shop in Valencia, CA 91355. Quincy Part Number 7382 QR-25 Model 350, 370, 105, 5120 Bare Compressor Head
This is the/left/ head from a Quincy QR-25 series Model 5120 compressor. The part number 7382 cross references to a Model 350. 370 and 5105 as well. Please send your RoC and I will validate that the part numbers are identical. Any risk associated with a non-identical part is undertaken by the buyer! I removed this head and had it hot tanked for several days. The surface rust is a result of that process but is typical of the process. It will run absolutely fantastic and is ready to re-install. I have wire-wheel brushed the exterior and all gasket mating surfaces so you won't need to do any scraping. Cleaning, etc. This head is ready to install, prime, paint and run. All the sealing surfaces are in good condition, including the valve seating surfaces. This head has indications of foreign debris which dislodged into the high pressure cylinder ... morebut should not affect the operation of the head as there are no chips in the valve seating surfaces. This piece weighs ~55 lbs. So unfortunately I can't offer free shipping. If you've dropped(and broken) the head from your compressor have rusted, frozen bolts that refuse to come out, or a failed brazing job(ugh) this could be a salvation for a fantastic compressor otherwise! These are Quincy QR-25 series part number 8272- the bare unloader tower body found sitting on top of a valve cover plate. Sometimes these go missing on rebuilds. Have broken bases/threads, or are simply rusted into oblivion or rusted shut to the bushing at their base. These are in fantastic condition with minimal pitting and none on any sealing surfaces. All parts have been glass-bead blasted and are ready to be put back into operation! This is an OEM. Original Quincy unit, not an aftermarket piece that may not fit correctly! All sheet metal cooling shrouds are intact and have been sandblasted or bead blasted and primed with a very durable heavy industrial primer and covered in Quincy blue. The motor is a 25 hp Lincoln electric motor. It comes with the Furnas magnetic starter. It has an auto electric drain. It has 5 brand new belts on it which is why the belt guard is off in some pics. This unit is one of 2 that was used in the local VA. It is on the tankless duel unit mount assembly. Can sell with or without mount stuff. As it likely doubles the weight of unit. This unit was rebuilt at 10,000 hours( have the old heads) and it now has approximately 2000 hrs since rebuild. Please note it has 200volt 3 phase 7.5 hp Baldor motor. Unit has new starter and has been gone through by professional. I bought it from the company that replaced the VAs units and he also did the original overhaul. It is a little more than I need. I estimate it weighs around 700lbs as is. With just motor flywheel and head it likely weights 400lbs. Please note I have not weighed it. 33.5 cfm at 75psig. 28.5cfm at 100psig and 859 rpm. The sheet metal covers have rusted because it was in a outdoor shed. i do have them. was going to have a tinknocker remake them. it also has a outdoor cold temp option installed for starts in outdoor use. presently wired for 460/3phase i will photo soon too. at a warehouse now.
