Vintage Precision Pressure Instrument Tool Ashcroft Pressure Gage Quality Piece
I got this tool from an estate I bought recently. I’m not exactly sure of its intended purpose. But it appears to be some kind of pressure testing tool. It also looks to be a precision instrument. There are some attachments included in the box. There are two sets of snap ring pliers in the cover for making adjustments to the tool(I assume) It appears to be made from solid aluminum. The gage is marked Ashcroft. It comes in a nice old wooden box which I believe is mahogany. The hardware seems to be original except the chrome handle looks to be a replacement. This is a used AMETEK USG 0-60 PSI 4 1/2 inch face liquid filled gauge. Box indicates it is Spec No 150736 and has a 1/2" ANPT fitting. I measured the nipple and it shows to be 3/4 inch across the threads. The back indicates it is filled with GLYCERINE. This was obtained from a machine shop and at one time was on a calibration schedule which had a locally applied s/n engraved in the outside of the case which has been removed. I have no reason to suspect it is not accurate since the process associated with its use was abandoned not due to the gauges. Calibration recommended where accuracy is required. This is a vintage 100 PSI pressure gauge made by US Gauge Company. This has a unique orange lens dial cover and was tested in working condition. It measures 3-1/2" in diameter and 4-3/4" in overall length including pipe fittings. The dial measures 2-3/4" I am not sure of its age. But it does have an interesting rustic patina from use. Antique Pressure Dial Gauge Vintage Steampunk Rustic Marshalltown Gage Cleveland
This is a very cool rustic. Antique water 200 psi pressure gauge. It was manufactured my Marshalltown Mfg Company of Iowa for the WM Pattison Company of Cleveland, OH. It has an interesting condensate loop pipe attached to it. The gauge measures 6" in diameter, and the total length including pipe is 15-3/4" The face of the gauge is 4-1/2" in diameter. This is a nonworking gauge with no glass on its face. This would make a great addition to a collection of as a part of an artistic endeavor. Thanks for looking.

Would be perhaps useful to someone who needs it, or a great piece for repurposing into something steam punk ish. Face is 2 1/8" diameter. Overall, this item is 8 1/4" long(measurement of the black pipe which, by the way, would be a great pipe for a lamp 1/2" pipe, outside threaded on both ends) and overall it is 5 1/2" tall measured the other way.
