Vintage US Navy aviation free air temperatue gauge Weston Navy Stock R888-T-1560
Vintage Free Air Temperature Gauge from a US Navy aircraft. I am not sure how old it is but some of the other gauges at the estate sale were from the early 1950s. The back says Bureau of Aeronautics Navy Stock No. R88- T-1560. Order No. N383S- 15450. Part no. 97084. Weston. There is a Navy anchor stamp also. It is attached to a piece of metal. I am not sure if it is from the aircraft. I am also not sure if it is working as I haven't seen the temperature change. Aviators used it to determine outside air temperature for various calculations. This is a used suunto pressure gauge. It has the air pressure sensor and the suunto compass. There is no depth gauge or dive computer. But the slot is open for you to insert your computer. I have not used this item as I am selling from an estate sale. The item is sold as is, but I was told it works. Hose appears to be in great shape, as does the threads of the hose that screws into the second stage.

Old General Fire Extinguisher Air Pressure Brass Gauge Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam
This is an old original brass air pressure gauge with the"General Fire Extinguisher" company name on it. These generally came with air compressor setups from the early 1900's. The gauge is all brass and has been nickel plated but most of the nickel is gone. It would polish up very nicely. It measures about 5 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 3/4 inches thick. It is missing the screws that hold the works and the face to the case. Other than those fasteners along with a little cleaning this would be a very nice gauge. It goes up to 250 lbs. These original gauges are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one don't miss it. They certainly look better than any modern gauge!
