Comes complete with original box, a soft carry case, two different sets of test leads, user's manual and pocket-size Quick Operating Guide. Also includes a Fluke PM8907 Power Adapter that will both power the Scope Meter from a standard 120 VAC outlet and charge a NiCd battery pack. Note that this meter does not come with a NiCd battery installed. It was originally supplied with one. But when we tested the unit in preparation for this listing we found the battery would not hold a charge. Fortunately this unit is designed to also run off of four C-size alkaline cells; we installed a fresh set of Duracell's. The Scope Meter works perfectly on these, but you will probably ... morewant to purchase a new NiCd battery. There are sellers here on eBay that offer packs made specifically for this unit, and at very reasonable prices. Lot of Tektronix LV Power Supplies from various TDS scopes -- All are bad !!
I have 6 bad low voltage power supplies for anybody that knows how to repair them. I am selling them as a lot. Most do not power on and a couple power on but stop running after time. I think the latter ones may have a bad thermal sensor on the heat sink so it shuts the unit down early. For example the heat sink operating temperature may have been designed to operate at for example 80 degrees C. So they would install a sensor that opens or closes at say 85 degrees C. When these sensors go bad they will often open or close, as the case may be, at a lower temperature. Thus it shuts the unit down at the normal operating temperature. HP 54111D 500MHz 1GS/s Digital Oscilloscope, partially working
Partially working oscilloscope. Great for someone who doesn't mind a little tinkering. The scope has(likely) dirty attenuator contacts. Just search"54111D repair" There is a nice tutorial on how to do it. Both channel display a signal, most of the time. See the first picture, sometimes the front-end switches don't make good contact. Usually just switching the vertical sensitivity back and forth will fix the problem. I haven't fully tested the unit. But I'm pretty sure it works. The calibrator pin is bent, but the signal is still good. Trig 1 input BNC is damaged. Please email me with any questions.
