The trace and crt labels are bright and the focus is good. Both the time and amplitude calibration looks good but I have no way to verify it meets specs. All photos are of the actual unit for sale. Knightkit 5mhz Oscilloscope for ham or shop
I have up for auction this Knightkit KG635 shop O'scope that was working fine for several years and then it lost the horizontal sweep function to the point that I cannot seem to keep it on the screen. I have neither the patience nor the nerves to keep fooling with repairing. All of the tubes have been changed out and all voltages seem to be good. I have the Install instructions and the maintenance manual to go with the unit. The crt has a bright spot when it is turned on and then it moves off to the right of the screen but returns toward center of screen when turned off. When it was working it was a good scope. I am just getting too old to keep working on this equipment. I believe whoever gets it will have a good utility scope for their shop or shack. Happy bidding.

Tektronix 222PS Digital Storage Oscilloscope
For auction is a functioning Tektronix 222PS portable oscilloscope. Non-Tek 117VAC wall wart and a P6104 scope probe. The installed battery does not hold a charge. As can be seen in the pictures the unit is displaying a sine wave on channel 1 and a square wave on channel 2. The first picture is showing a pulse using the supplied P6104 probe. The 222PS is unusual in that chan 1 and chan 2 grounds are isolated from each other for 600 volts. Both input connectors are weird(not BNC) and it uses special probes, the P850. The P6104 with the BNC compensation box unplugged can be plugged into the Power Scout input connectors. That is what is shown, what I used and what is supplied. In the one set of pictures you can see ... morethe power light is on, the internal light is one, the scope had the green dot on it, and the tubes were lit up.then the fuse blew on the back(I left the fuse in the back for the winning bidder to make it easy to match a new one) I have no idea how to oporate so maybe I did something wrong or the radio tubes need replaced or something. The manual is available online for free and it says if the fuse blows it is either: Shorted AC line on the primary side, defective rectifier tubes, defective filter capacitor, or short in filament connection, should be a somewhat easy fix for someone who nows how to do it. I did put in a second fuse and it stayed on longer, but blew again. As you can see from the pictures of the inside, it is nice and clean and all wires appear to be in tact.can't see any reason for it to not work with a little tlc. All the knobs look great, no cracks or anything that I can see and they all appear to move properly. The screen has no cracks and very minimal wear. The metal ring around the screen is a bit worn as you can see in the photo but honestly comes off pretty easy, a little spray paint and it would look brand new. I have no idea how to hook something up
