Such as a 12" socket extension or large Phillips screwdriver; wrap the top with a cloth to pad your hand(or. ouch! Insert into a hole in the pad. And bang it with a hammer to turn the pad counterclockwise. Once it begins to turn. Look carefully to see if it is actually loose(in which case, simply unscrew it and screw on the new one) If the shaft is turning with it, what you have done is loosened the pinion gear inside, rather than the pad. Not a disaster, but you will have to remove the gearbox cover. Line up the holes in the pad and the wall guard.

Nice. Used unit. This was purchased(used) for one project which never transpired. Good condition. This has the quick grip pad, which is used for floor polishing, burnishing, cleaning or buffing. In order for this unit to be used as a sander, a different pad would be needed. As such, sandpaper cannot be attached directly to this unit until the pad is changed out. The unit is relatively clean. I think the pictures should do an adequate job portraying it. The cord is long and in good shape. This has loads of life left, and a fraction of the new price. Local pickup is free and welcome. 2 Orebro / Bona Viking floor edgers 110/120v
I have two floor edgers they both need belts and one needs a switch and wheels the other one has the wheels and switch. Neither of them have dust bags as I always hooked them up to a dust collection system. They were originally designed and manufactured by a company called Orebro which was bought out by Bona. I heard Bona bought Orebro just because they had such a great design for their edgers. Parts are available through Bona as Bona only changed the name on it they still call it Viking. The edgers have a duckbill design to be able to get up underneath toe kicks and other obstacles without having to switch sanders. They have the twist lock plugs(see photo) both motors sound fine.
