Custom Built One Off Set Of 23/4 Lb Carp/ Pike Rods- Carp/pike Fishing
Here we have a unique set of three custom built 12ft 23/4 test rods. These are built on an spd maximiser blank that has a right angle weave in the carbon. Basically this makes the blank very strong but also very slim and light. These are now discontinued but were one of wychwoods flagship model blanks. the butt above the handle on these measures a mere 13 mm! when the sun catches the weave on the carbon these look absolutely stunning. The build on these is- Fuji butt cap. Full cork handle, special painted metallic black fuji dnps reel seat, front cork grip, an almost full coloured butt wrap in gold,teal, red, white and black in four way chevrons, 6 rings plus tip( Fuji"o" hard rings in black as used by dave lumb) 40 mm but and 16 mm tip, whipped in black and tipped in gold. The rod sections are also numbered and they have my name ... moreon the butt discreetely. These are now around 4 years old but in excellent condition and are a unique set of rods that you will never see on the bank. The action on these is superb. They were not built for casting at distance but for multi range pike fishing with live and dead baits to around 70-80 yards range so they are quite soft in the tip, however the power comes into play about just over halfway down the blank so there are no worries about pulling hooks in weed or snags. These rods have taken pike to near 30 lb with no probs at all. However they will put a 3-4 oz lead a surprisingly long way on boilie tackle! grab a deal on these as they were nearly a grand to have built! Please- no more dreamers or time wasters with ridiculous offers- its your own time that your wasting- bid to buy!
